The Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Syria/Iraq office convened a two-day virtual dialogue that brought together experts and policymakers from the United States, European Union, and Middle East to discuss developments in the region.this dialogue focused on the challenges posed by the conflict in Syria, the role of the Russian Federation in the Middle East, and the future of Iranian-American tensions. Each half-day seminar featured two panels and amoderated discussion led by FPRI Director of Research Dr. Aaron Stein. What follows is summary of the debates and actionable conclusions.
