Camp speakers

Rev Dr Caleb Soo (Mandarin)

Rev Soo served as the Senior Minister of Singapore Life Church (Presbyterian) from 1999 to 2022.

He currently serves as the Supervising and Training Pastor of Singapore Life Church, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore, and a Lecturer at the Bible Society of Singapore's Discipleship Training InstituteChinese Department.

His ministry focus includes church planting, pastoral care, and theological education. He holds a Doctor of Theology degree from the Theological Faculty of Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan. He also completed his Master of Theology jointly from Trinity Theological College, Singapore, and the South East Asia Graduate School of Theology.

Rev Lam Kuo Yung (English)

Rev Lam is serving as senior minister of Katong Presbyterian Church, as well as Vice-Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore. He is married to Lois Kwan and they have three children whom they homeschooled

Rev Lam is also the author of the books ‘Together Alive’ and ‘Total Discipleship’, and co-author of the book ‘Creation Care and the Gospel’.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking and camping

Programmes for teens and children

Teens programme - Alex Tee Ee Han

Ee Han came to know Christ when volunteers from Singapore Youth For Christ (SYFC) introduced him to Jesus They continued to journey with him and inspired him to serve God in evangelism.

He then began full-time ministry with SYFC in 2006, working in the grassroots team to invite non-believers to know Jesus and encouraging believers to speak of Jesus to those around them, taking inspiration from John 9:4

This year, he transitioned to a full-time staff role at Emmaus Evangelical Free Church in the Missions & Outreach team He also serves as a cell group leader, service leader, and lay preacher

As a basketball coach, referee and climbing instructor, he uses sports as a personal platform to share about Jesus.

Ee Han is happily married to Joawen and is blessed with three children

Children’s programme - The Treasure Box

Elvin and Esther Foong are the founders of The Treasure Box, a Christian organization dedicated to family ministry.

Their mission is to inspire and resource families to grow closer to God and closer to each other by helping them lay strong spiritual foundations They develop family devotional guides, journals, and activity books, and they conduct various workshops and programmes to build God-fearing families.

Creche programme - FMC volunteers

This is an optional programme for children who are 6 years old and below during the main theme talks.

For the safety and effective engagement of the youngest children, one parent should be present with their child or children. This ensures that the parent, who knows their child best, is on hand to address any needs that may arise.
