SPEAKER FOR TODAY
Bishop Emeritus Dr. James Kwang was born in Sibu, Malaysia. He pursued his further studies in Engineering in England. After he graduated he worked as an Engineer from 1982-1987.
He immigrated to Perth, Australia in 1987. Before God called him to full-time ministry in 1994, he was running his own construction firm. He was a Pastor with the Chinese Methodist Church In Australia (CMCA) and served in Immanuel Methodist Church in Perth. In November 2010, he was elected by his Annual Conference as Bishop of the CMCA, and he was re-elected in November 2014. As an outgoing Bishop, he was conferred by the CMCA Annual Conference as Bishop Emeritus in November 2018.
He studied at the Reform Theological Seminary, Mississippi and obtained the Doctor of Ministry in Intercultural Studies in 2007. He is currently the Regional Secretary of World Methodist Evangelism for East Asia.
He has two grown up daughters, Priscilla and Esther. Priscilla is married with two children, Owen & Gemma. Esther is in full-time ministry.
BIBLE SOCIETY SUNDAY SECOND OFFERING COLLECTION
A special 2nd Offering will be collected for Bible Society of Singapore today.
RESTARTING OF PENTECOST FELLOWSHIP
After 2 years of hiatus due to Covid19, Pentecost Fellowship has resumed on 7/6/2022, Tuesday.
Pentecost Fellowship will be held on the 1st,2nd and 3rd Tuesday of every month and conducted in Cantonese, Mandarin & Hokkien, respectively, 10am at Level 3 sanctuary of FMC.
Members with pre-believing elderly at home are welcome to bring them to Pentecost Fellowship for gospel message. For more details, please contact Chai Yoon @ 8339 9582
BREAKFAST CORNER
The breakfast corner in the Social Hall is open every Sunday from 9.15am to 11.45am.
The corner will be manned by volunteers and open for freewill offering.
All are welcome to join in the fellowship after service.
Reminder: Please do not consume food and drinks in the sanctuary.
ANNOUNCEMENT
RESUMPTION OF SENIOR CITIZEN ON-SITE FELLOWSHIP
Senior Citizen Fellowship will be held on-site again starting 23 July 2022.
PARKING IN FMC
On Sundays, the church carpark (unsheltered area) will be open for parking.
As there are limited lots available, please bless them to those who are in need, i.e handicapped, ferrying wheelchair-bound. Pastors and staff will not park in the church, so more lots will be available for the needy.
Please park within the designated lots, and do not Double Park in front of other cars.
If you had to park in church, please leave as soon as you can after Service so that the lots can be made available to members from other Services.
