Edit Your Member Information Online The Fraternal Order of Eagles is proud to now offer you the ability to change your member contact information via our Members-Only website. If you've changed your address, phone number or e-mail address in recent months and are worried your member record may not be up to date, you now have the ability to edit your information. To take advantage of this great new tool, visit www.foe.com and log into our Members-Only section. (You must have a Members-Only account to edit your information. If you do not currently have Members-Only access, simply click Register to create one.) Once you're logged in, click on your name inside the toolbar at the top of the page. From there, click on Change Mailing Address, fill out the form below and click Submit! Our system will take your changes and input them in our Member Management System (MMS) to ensure you continue to receive the information you need as a member. If you feel more comfortable going to your Secretary to change your information, you may continue to do so. This additional service was may available for use in the event you would like to update the information yourself. If you have any questions about the process, please call the Grand Aerie Headquarters at 614-883-2200 or e-mail us at help@foe.com. 2016 International Convention

International Convention Returns To Reno, Nevada This Summer This summer, we're heading back to the Biggest Little City in the World Reno, Nevada - for the 2016 Fraternal Order of Eagles International Convention, July 18-21. The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, hosts of the 2009 and 2013 International Conventions, will once again welcome Eagles for a week of fun, festivities and fraternalism. Rooms are available at a special Eagles rate of $89 per-night with no resort fee. ALL Convention-related activities will be taking place within the Grand Sierra Resort. Convention is the signature event of the fraternal year and we're proud to partner with the Grand Sierra Resort to make the 2016 event another

We Are People Helping People Arizona -The Past Worthy President’s Club at Lake Havasu #4299 purchased a new light-up sign for the Aerie Building. California -Brisbane #3255 held a Diabetes Research Function, raising $570. Florida -In May, Zita Buckley received the unfortunate news that her breast cancer had returned. Her sister, Beatrix Kutleshi, a member of Panhandle #4045, reached out to fellow members to help Zita as her insurance covered only a portion of the bill. The Eagles donated $500 to Buckley, then got to work organizing a poker tournament, which raised another $4,000. Idaho -Bonners Ferry #3522 donated $4,500 to a variety of children’s groups in Boundary County. The money was made over the summer months at the Eagles Cotton Candy/Snow Cone Booth. Indiana -Muncie #231, with the help of the Aerie, Auxiliary and Bingo Committee, raised $4,360.62 for Toys For Tots. Kansas -Lawrence #309 gave their Reverence of Law Award to Lawrence Police Officer Eric Barkley. He was selected by his colleagues as the winner for his 14 years of service to the community. Maine -The Lakes Region #4352 collected food items throughout the month of October, collecting $1,414.50 and 99 items. Michigan -Davison Eagle Riders #3589 presented a check for $6,700 to the American Cancer Society during the 5th Annual Prostate Cancer run, Oct. 5. Minnesota -Donations from Winona #1243 and other service organizations enabled the Winona County Veteran Transport Program to continue shuttling veterans to and from VA hospitals in Minneapolis and Tomah, Wisc. Missouri -Joplin #2410 held a pot luck dinner for FACT, the MO State Presidents’ Charity, and a food drive for United Grace Church.

Lock Haven #4298 awarded $10,500 to support student athletic scholarships at Lock Haven University. Accepting the donation from Aerie President Donald Troutman is LHU President Michael Fiorentino. Montana -Missoula Auxiliary #32’s DJ Blanchard presented a check for $3,296 to Aaron Brock of the Missoula Food Bank, raised during her year as Auxiliary President. Nebraska -Papillon #4029 collected 150 pounds of food for the Tri-City Food Bank and donations of women’s clothing for the Heartland Center for Abused Women. Nevada -Las Vegas #1213 hosted the Giving Project, uniting various agencies with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Downtown Area Command (DTAC), in a community based program focused on assisting those in need. 200 people were given essentials such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, and more. New Hampshire -Claremont Aerie #4457 received a $1,000 grant from the F.O.E. Charity Foundation for the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center to be used for sports equipment for kids. New York -Binghamton #2119 member Diane Marble is a breast cancer survivor and in an effort to show her support for the cause, she started the group’s Breast

Cancer Fundraiser. She made a beautiful pink wreath to start out and from there, the Auxiliary worked hard together to raise $1,183 for the cause. Ohio -Canton McKinley Aerie #2370 collected 300 pounds of food for the Perry Helping Perry food bank in Perry Township. The Aerie donates $3,000 annually to cover the costs of security for the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Charities Food Cupboard. Pennsylvania -Gettysburg #1562 presented a check for $5,000 during the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Adams County Law Enforcement range in Straban Township. Tennessee -Scenic City #945 made a donation of a variety of food items to Chattanooga Food Bank and a monetary donation to Community Kitchen in Chattanooga. Washington -Buckley, Wash., #1387 gave their first Life Saving Award on Oct. 10, to one of their brothers, James Hoylman. On Aug. 25, a lawn tractor rolled on top of a Buckley Resident. He attempted to help the man, eventually calling 911 and having assistance dispatched to the scene to help save the man’s life. -Elma #1440 Worthy President Dawane Johnson and Madam President Nita Hansen selected Honor Flight as their charity. A banquet was held, raising $1,202 through a raffle and another $250 from the Elma Eagle Riders to make a donation of $1,452 to Honor Flight representative Steve Talkington. -On July 31, Castle Rock Auxiliary #556 hosted an awards dinner and had the distinct honor of presenting charity checks to their local community agencies. Junior Past Madam President Judy Colt, along with the 2014-15 chairmen, made presentations as follows: Women’s Support Shelter, $2,113.58; Hospice Care Center, $2113.58; Peacehealth/St. John’s Medical Center Heart Center, $5,000; Castle Rock Library, $200; Castle Rock Senior Center, $200; Cowlitz County Humane Society, $454.83. Two High School seniors were also each given a $500 scholarship. An anonymous donor matched the $2,113.58 given to the Women’s Shelter. A total of $13,195.57 was given out. Wisconsin -The Wisconsin State Auxiliary presented a $5,000 grant to the Aspirus Diabetes CTR and Nutritional Counseling on Nov. 14, at the Mid-Year Banquet. British Columbia -Penticton, B.C., Aerie #4281 donated $408 to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul in support of their annual Christmas hamper campaign, which will deliver 375 Christmas hampers to families in need in Penticton. -Vernon #3557 held an Appreciation Dinner, with the Ladies’ Auxiliary doing the catering. Aerie Eagle of the Year was presented to Carman Gibson while Ladies’ Auxiliary Eagle of the Year was presented to Carol Torrance. Unsung Hero Award was presented to Doreen Ellinson. The Ladies’ Auxiliary also gave out the following donations: Provincial Madam President’s Charity (B.C. Children’s Hospital) $1,000; Venture Training, $1,000; Vernon Restholm, $1,000; Muscular Dystrophy Canada, $1,000.

2016 Bulletin Contest We're asking all Aeries and Auxiliaries to submit their bulletins for the 2016 Grand Aerie Bulletin Contest for a chance to receive recognition at your upcoming State/Provincial Convention. Submit your best bulletin from the months of September, October or November 2015. All entries will be judged and receive feedback. Entries must be submitted by January 22, 2016 to be considered in the 2016 contest. Winners will be announced on February 29, 2016. A Thank You From One Of Our Operation Eagle Receipients Nick (Gary) Nichols, one of our 2015 Operation Eagle Recipients, recently received his care package and shared a special letter with Wayne Langbecker of Meramec #3678 in Arnold, Missouri, who nominated him for this year's program. "Wayne, I received the loaded packages and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every single piece was grabbed by a Soldier and/or Civilian Contractor in need. You guys did very well and their appreciation was expressed from ear to ear. Thank you goes out from them in a big way. Supplies are limited but we are managing with supplemental care packages sent by caring people as yourselves. Your packages brought a little bit of home in a big way with your ideas you packaged. Your caring and thoughtfulness came just in the Nick of time as our supplies are being held up in 150 container supplies lines at the borders due to conflicts and fighting. We have ample amount of supplies but they are stuck en route so our PX is bare dry of essentials however your packages were truly Christmas for everyone. Everyone thanks you dearly. What a surprise!!! Please let the Fraternal Order know they came through in a Big Way for us over here. I made sure to pass out the applications and the booklets to everyone. Your friend, Nick"
