In our team note last month we flagged that we would be interviewing the winners of the Australia Day awards on a local level. We kick start these interviews with the St Agnes Flood Recovery group who won Community Group of the year. We celebrate and congratulate Hopkins Consultants on their 30 years in business, and with singing and dancing now back our gig guide has a massive line up of live shows for you to enjoy, not to mention the amazing shows coming to the Glasshouse. Community spirit: Here at FOCUS we are always keen, happy and ready to support local businesses, charities and anyone who is doing amazing things in and around our local community. With that said I want to give a shout out to Dr Kristy and her team for the amazing event they put on at Hello Sailor last month to raise money and awareness for Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services. An amazing $30,000 plus was raised in one night. Congratulations to all involved. This is an awesome achievement.
