Freshwater anglers enjoy landing largemouth bass, bream, and crappie. This is also one of the few places in Florida where you can snorkel or dive for bay scallops. Paddling & Boating Connect with nature along the Gulf of Mexico coastline, or on the beautiful Weeki Wachee and Withlacoochee Rivers, while following miles of popular canoe and kayak trails. Rental craft are available from area outfitters and at local marinas. There are endless opportunities for aquatic adventures in this paddling and boating paradise.

Pine Island Beach Coast on over to our family-friendly beach for sunbathing, swimming, and admiring truly splendid sunsets. Pine Island offers covered picnic tables, grills, an outdoor shower, restrooms, and an on-site café.
