How do you express your inner child? I myself feel free as a bird while riding my motorcycle. I am the proud owner of a 2020 Kawasaki ZX6R … an amazing machine, a monster on the race track and one of the best bikes in its class. I initially purchased my bike after trading my very first bike in for it. My beginner bike was a 2018 Kawasaki 400 … not much cc but I instantly fell in love with the bike’s agility. Cornering was a breeze and from that moment on, I joined the “Kawi Family”! Since I was a child, I always thought women on bikes were amazingly fascinating … symbolizing power and strength in women. Growing up I was not at all scared to get down and dirty … climbing trees, skinned knees, the works! I would go out and ride ATVs and dirt bikes with my family, who were all older boys that would not let me drive. Of course, that just motivated me to get my own! I watched them get new dirt bikes every year but I wanted something different. I wanted a street bike, to speed down the highway listening to the wind whistle through my helmet. That’s the thrill I was looking for when I bought my Kawi 400. From there, like any biker, I upgraded after three years wanting more speed! Now, I am extremely happy with my ZX6R and I plan to treat her right and give her the respect a fantastic machine deserves! 12

Casey Garner Born an Aries in 1990, I moved to Florida from East Liverpool Ohio when I was 7. I was raised in a family of bikers, but I didn’t start riding my own until I was about 24. I started on a 2013 Honda CBR500, it was the best beginner bike. The CBR is a very forgiving bike. It provides all your basic needs for learning how to control a motorcycle and still has enough power to get you out of a sticky situation. I later moved up to a suzuki gsxr600 and now proudly

ride my gsxr1000 everywhere. Florida is an extremely dangerous state for motorcycles, because of that I strive to continue learning and practicing all techniques that will keep me alive. I tend to stay away from riding in town and at night. My father taught me everything I know and he lives on through me and my journey. I was given all the advice, but In my first year of riding I experienced my first crash. I was entering the on ramp

of the interstate at night and target fixated on the grass. That’s exactly where I went! I low sided into the shoulder and got up to find my bike leaning against a tree. If not for my helmet, it could have been much worse. I was by myself. Once I looked everything over, I hopped back on and rode home. I have been very lucky and aware. Many of my friends have not been so fortunate. Dont wait for it to happen, expect it to happen and learn how to adjust

yourself before it’s too late. Since then I’ve had the ability to “snap myself out” of that target fixating and I have saved myself from other crashes. About a couple years later, I was traveling on the interstate at night, when a truck and trailer ran over a 2x4 laying in the lane and threw it into my travel path. I hit it head on but managed to keep the bike up. Both of my wheels were destroyed. I always try to expect the unexpected. Even if you’ve been riding for 50 years, continue to practice your skills every day. I enjoy escaping the straight roads of Florida and head to the mountains twice a year. Not only is that a great learning experience, but you can not beat the scenery. My dog Rocko enjoys being on two wheels just as much as I do. He is as happy as can be when we’re 18

riding down the back roads, ears I’m the wind. I attended my first track day in 2018 and I try to go once a month. I learn something new every single time I’m there. It is a very safe environment with knowledgeable riders that are there for any questions and guidance. If you ever want to REALLY become one with your motorcycle, you must attend a track day. You will learn things on the track that you will never learn on the street. There is nothing more fulfilling than gaining more and more confidence and truly being in-tune with what you are doing. As a rider, you need to be aware of how dangerous this sport is. You will not catch me without a proper fitting helmet, jacket, gloves, pants and boots. When I’m at the track, I trust my Shoei helmet, Dainese 1 piece suit and Forma boots to keep me safe. Always wear your gear, enjoy yourself, and always continue to learn and practice while on your motorcycle.

DON DINERO Dinero born and raised in New York he found much inspiration amid New York’s thriving hip-hop scene. Don Dinero is the son of Cuban exiles who arrived in the United States at the beginning of the 1960s. While growing up, Don Dinero witnessed the birth of rap and immediately became attracted to the movement. Dinero, who raps fluently in English and Spanish, says his music has been successful because Latinos were hungry for rap that spoke to their experience. In the late ‘90s he and his older brother, Oscar Guitian, started their own label, Last Laugh Records, and went about making their dreams come true. Not much came of that venture, unfortunately, and Dinero decided to move himself and his family to Miami, where he believed there was ample opportunity amid the city’s huge Latino population. This was in 2002, and he immediately began work on what would become Que Bola! He released the album by the end of the year, on Cuban Connection Records, and Miami’s Salsa 98.3 began playing the single “Pana Pana.” This in itself was landmark, as the predominantly tropical

station rarely if ever played so-called urban music, but the best was yet to come, when Universal Latino offered to pick up Que Bola! for distribution, reissuing it in 2003 in an enhanced edition. Universal also greenlighted a group album, Don Dinero and the Revolu All Stars, and a DVD, Su Vida y la Calle - both of which furthered the quickly mounting buzz surrounding Dinero. Such was the buzz that Dinero and Dinero alone was chosen to collaborate with Celia Cruz on a remix of her “Son de la Loma” single, released in 2004. That year he also independently released a retrospective collection, The Best of Don Dinero, which featured his best-known songs in remixed form. All of this ascension culminated in 2005 with the release of Ahora Que Sí, Dinero’s long-awaited follow-up to Que Bola! The album’s lead single, “Arte de la Calle,” got excessive airplay in the stateside Latino enclaves of Miami, Los Angeles, New York, and Texas, setting up well the album’s eventual release in July. He released his third album “El Ultimo Guerrero” on October, 31, 2006. Dinero has since released many new songs as well as his own clothing line ORISHAS. “Do what you love, and the money will make itself”

Elizabeth Lewis (Lizz Lewis) is a 25yr old mother, fighter, coach, personal trainer, rider, car enthusiast, model and IG influencer. Her path began when she was 15, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as a young mma fighter in a male dominant sport, she began proving herself as an athlete very early on. After 9yrs of Mixed Martial Arts coming out with an amateur record of 5-2, she carried that confidence into more ambitions. In 2019 she moved to Tampa, Florida which opened doors to all new interests, here began her love of motorcycles, cars and modeling. Lizz bought her first bike a CBR600RR and continued from there. She was collected into rider groups

like Florida Ride or Die, Clutch Queens, Bay Area Riders, & modeled for Born to Ride Magazine. After her first modeling experience, many photographers privately reached out for boudoir, beach, sports, classic cars, and classic motorcycles. This began her enthusiasm for cars! She bought a 2017 Dodge Challenger SXT and added custom mods, She even went as far to name her car Lucia! Lizz and Lucia now have their own Youtube channel, Instagram and Tiktok dedicated specifically to cool cars/ bikes of Tampa, Clearwater, Palm Harbor and Brandon area! On may 23,2021 Florida Ride or Die Magazine and the community came together to support our fellow biker Sergio. Sergio was a victim of a hit and run accident unfortunately due to the accident he lost his arm. Antonio Hernandez was able to partner up with a prosthetic company unlimited tomorrow who has agreed to make Sergio a prosthetic arm at their cost. On the day of the event we were able to raise $4,000 to go towards his new arm. Florida Ride or Die Magazine would like to give a special thanks to Attorney Fran Haasch, Jam Orlando, On the Mic Radio 99.9fm Orlando, the music artists, and the motorcycle groups that attended.

One of the biggest rides of the year called ‘Quemando Brea’ was held on June26,2021 in Tampa, Fl. Riders from all over Florida attend people come as far as Puerto Rico and other states for this annual event. If you missed this years Que Mando Brea make sure you don’t miss next year!
