I grew up as an Army brat, which allowed me to travel extensively. Although I was born in Chicago, I currently reside in South Carolina.
I ride a 2013 Suzuki GSX-R 1300 Hayabusa, affectionately named "Big Bertha." The bike features striking gold fairings and chrome trim, with no engine modifications and a large sprocket designed for wheelies.
My journey into motorcycling began at the age of 15 on my father's Honda Shadow 1100. He was my inspiration to ride
One of my most memorable experiences was participating in the "Ride for My City" event in Nashville, Tennessee. The exhilaration of being part of such a large gathering of passionate riders and impressive bikes was unforgettable.
In addition to riding, I enjoy working out at the gym, playing video games, and occasionally drawing.

My name is Debbie Rodriguez. I’m 44 years old, originally from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, and currently living in Davenport, Florida. I’m submitting my rider story and photos for Florida Ride or Die Magazine I ride a 2005 GSXR 1000 with a custom Mortal Kombat themed paint inspired by my favorite character, Kitana. Originally, the theme of my bike was the Joker, a character I’ve always liked. However, over time I realized that many people were already using that theme, and I wanted something different and unique That’s when I decided to change it and go with Kitana from Mortal Kombat, keeping an old-school style inspired by the movie I watched many times as a child. Having that theme on my bike is something special to me because it connects to a childhood memory that became a reality I’ve been riding for about four years. Before that, I rode motorcycles for a short time but stopped because I was scared. Prior to riding, I spent many years in the car scene and consider myself one of the first women involved in that environment at the time. Over time more women started appearing in the scene until I eventually sold my car and moved into the motorcycle world.
Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, riding in mountainous areas, going out to eat, and simply enjoying my time. One of my favorite memories while riding is seeing the happiness of kids when they see me on the bike. Many wave, ask for pictures, or get excited when they see a woman riding a sport bike. Being able to make them smile is something very special to me.
My advice to other riders is to never let fear stop you from doing something you love. Ride safe, respect the road, and support each other in the riding community Thank you for the opportunity to share my story

In the heart of Jacksonville, Florida, a motorcycle club rides not only with power and presence, but with purpose The NOLO Riders Motorcycle Club was founded in 2019 by a group of riders who believed that brotherhood should extend beyond the road and into the community What began as a passion for motorcycles quickly grew into something much bigger a movement focused on unity, mentorship, and giving back.
At the center of the club is its president, Solo, who leads the pack on his Harley Road Glide Known for his leadership and dedication to both his brothers and his city, Solo helped build NOLO Riders into more than just a MC club It became a family Riding alongside him are loyal members, his BROTHERS! Big Amp, Tear Drop, Shadow, Flip Flop, Red Man, Vegas, Stryker, and Monster. Each brother brings his own personality and strength to the club, but they all share one mission: represent the biker culture in a positive way while supporting the community that supports them
While the roar of their motorcycles often turns heads throughout Jacksonville, it’s the work they do off their bikes that truly defines them
Every first Sunday of the month, the NOLO Riders gather to feed the homeless, providing meals and support to those who need it most During the holiday season, they host bicycle and toy giveaways for children, making sure families in need can still experience the joy of Christmas. Around Thanksgiving, the club organizes turkey giveaways to help families share a warm holiday meal When school starts each year, they provide backpacks and school supplies so children can begin the year prepared and confident
But their impact goes even deeper
Members of NOLO Riders also mentor troubled youth, offering guidance, encouragement, and a positive example of what brotherhood, discipline, and community leadership can look like. For many young people in Jacksonville, seeing a group of bikers committed to helping others changes the narrative of what motorcycle clubs represent
The club’s message is simple: motorcycles may bring them together, but community keeps them moving Through charity events, mentorship, and outreach, NOLO Riders continues to show Jacksonville that bikers are not just riders of the road, they are protectors of their community

I've been passionate about motorcycles since I was a young child My dad would place me on the front of his Harley, sitting on the gas tank while I held onto the handlebars as we rode around. I started learning to ride when I was around seven years old One day, my parents surprised me with a Yamaha Zinger four-wheeler, and from that moment on, I was hooked on riding At 25, I got my first street-legal bike, a KLX 250
Choosing my favorite riding memory is quite challenging because I have so many One standout moment was my first stunt ride A local friend, Jared, invited me to spend winter vacation in Jacksonville, Florida (2022) I had no prior knowledge of stunt rides or the stunt community before agreeing to join him After that ride and experiencing the vibrant bike community, I was completely captivated I returned home, sold my KLX 250, and purchased my current Grom, eager to travel to more rides and learn how to stunt
Aside from riding, my other real passion is enjoying dirt biking
My best advice for fellow riders is: you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Remember, seat time is essential, and never give up on riding and pursuing what you love
