Recognized as a Steinway Artist in 2019, pianist and composer Connie Han infuses modern jazz with a bold, unapologetic edge. A Los Angeles native, she began classical piano at age five before turning to jazz. Forgoing the traditional conservatory path, Han jumped straight into the scene, quickly earning attention in top clubs and festivals worldwide. At 21, she released her debut Crime Zone on Mack Avenue Records, followed by two more acclaimed albums, including Secrets of Inanna.
Known for her fearless individuality and technical mastery, Han blends myth, power, and sensuality into a provocative, boundary-pushing voice that is reshaping the modern jazz landscape.

For a generation of Canadians, Lighthouse was the soundtrack of their lives.
Storming onto the Canadian music scene in 1969, they fused horns, strings, and rock rhythms into a groundbreaking sound. Between 1970 and 1974, the band earned four Juno Awards, four gold albums, and Canada’s first platinum album for Lighthouse Live!, while hits such as One Fine Morning, Sunny Days, 1849, and Pretty Lady climbed Canadian and international charts.
Their unique blend of rock, jazz, and classical influences propelled them to the forefront of musical trends. Lighthouse was the first Canadian rock band to headline the Newport, Monterey, and Boston Globe jazz festivals. At the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival, they were the only act invited to perform a second night. Back home, free concerts at Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square drew over 100,000 fans.
Reunited in 1992, Lighthouse continues to tour regularly featuring founder Paul Hoffert leading an all-star line-up that includes original member Russ Little with Chris Howells, Simon Wallis, Michael Stuart, Doug Moore, Don Paulton, Marc Ganetakos, Paul DeLong and dynamic lead vocalist Dan Clancy.
