It is my great pleasure to invite you to experience another extraordinary year of live performances! Each season, this remarkable theatre brings our community together through the shared joy of the arts, celebrating creativity and the stories that connect us all.
Flato Markham Theatre stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a community believes in the power of culture. Built on a vision to create a local home for the performing arts, it has grown into one of Ontario’s most respected and dynamic cultural venues. Generations of residents, artists and supporters have contributed to its success, and today it continues to inspire audiences with worldclass programming and unforgettable memories.
This season promises to be no exception. From captivating performances to bold new voices, the stage will come alive with talent that reflects both our global perspective and our strong Canadian roots. It is a place where emerging artists shine, established performers return and audiences of all ages can discover something new.

These three words have started many an adventure. Whether it’s an epic road trip, a once in a lifetime experience, or even a late-night pizza order, “are you in?” is an invitation to say yes, to take part, to be there.
And that’s exactly what we’re asking of you this season. For over 40 years, we’ve opened our doors, brought the world to our stage, and invited you to be part of something special. As we step into our 41st season, we’re excited to continue that tradition, welcoming exceptional artists and unforgettable performances to Flato Markham Theatre.
Part of the magic of live performance is both discovery and rediscovery. It might be seeing a favourite artist in a new light, or experiencing something entirely unexpected, a powerful Indigenous voice that stays with you, a concert that changes how you hear an instrument, music from across the world, or a realization that you really like contemporary dance. Some of my favourite moments over the past few years have been hearing from you about what moved you, what challenged you and what surprised you.
Those moments are exactly why we ask: Are you in? We strive to be a home where you can discover something new, reconnect with what you love, or simply escape the world for a couple of hours.

They combines piano, cello, accordion, and percussion in a unique blend of acoustic chamber and world music that is passionate, sophisticated, and energetic. Their all-original repertoire draws inspiration from Argentine tango, Serbian folk and dance traditions, Persian classical music, as well as classical composers such as Bach and Prokofiev, and progressive rock influences including Radiohead.
Ladom doesn’t pretend to represent any one tradition, but rather expresses an authentically Canadian fusion.
