Traveling Exhibition Organized by the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum Bicycles: Technology that Changed the World showcases the development and evolution of the bicycle and its profound impact on American society and culture. Featuring 20 bicycles from the Keith Pariani Collection, the exhibition includes historic bicycles dating from 1869–1899, along with periodappropriate advertisements and accessories, such as gas illuminated lights, bells, bags, cyclometers, bicycle race trophies, and clothing. Notable highlights of the exhibition include a velocipede from 1869, a high wheel bicycle that once belong to President William McKinley, several ladies’ bicycles, and a quadruplicate men’s velodrome pacing bicycle from 1899.
