Dear Members, The golf course continues to get better every day with the beautiful spring weather we have been experiencing. Along with the grass starting to green up, the spring flowers and select trees have produced gorgeous color throughout the property. I could not be more proud of the Golf Course Maintenance team. They continue to complete impactful projects around the course all while staying ahead of pertinent maintenance tasks. The fairways and tees continue to get greener every day. With the expected warmer weather, the Zoysia grass should be actively growing by the end of May. We appreciate your efforts utilizing the new cart entry and exit system which we implemented this season. Following the prescribed guidelines, our goal is to keep cart traffic in the fairways to ensure the rough stays as healthy as possible while we minimize the number of ropes and stakes used throughout the property. A diagram of this system may be found on the next page.

6-Week Program for ages 10 to 13 The hardest aspect of making physical fitness and wellness a part of your life is knowing where to begin. This program will help start your child on the right path as we educate them on safety and produce a life-long exerciser! Participants will learn: Proper warm-up and exercise techniques Safe and correct use of cardio and resistance-training machines How to record progress How to practice safe protocols for increasing weight and repetitions Upon completion of this program, all junior members will earn the privilege of using the Fitness Center without parental supervision (typically restricted to those 15 and up) but only when a fitness team member is on duty. All participants will be prohibited from using free-weight equipment.
6-Week Session on Tuesdays 10a to 11a June 11th through July 23rd (skipping July 2nd) Fee: $99+ per child The kids will be inspired and taught by Wes Buntenbach who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fitness and Wellness from Park University.

Pool Guests and Pool Passes: Guest fee is $5 per person, charged to your account or purchase passes in advance: 10 for $40+ or 25 for $75+. Please contact Rebecca at 816.746.0200 and allow three weekdays for processing. Babysitter Pass is $50+ for the entire season. Pool & Snack Bar Hours: The Pool will open daily starting Friday, May 24th 10a-8p, weather permitting. Snack Bar hours will be 11a-7p. Pool Rules: Always Obey Lifeguards! No running, horseplay, sitting on ladders or climbing on guard stands. No diving allowed except in the diving well. Children ages 10 and under must be attended to by an adult at all times. No outside food or drink is allowed; no gum is allowed; no coolers or glass containers are permitted. The Club is not responsible for lost articles. Adults have priority for chairs and cabanas. Children over 7 years of age are not permitted in the wading pool. Toys are not allowed in the slide pool. The Adult Lap Lane is for adults only; children are not to use this lane. Kids develop motor skills and strengthen physical ability while learning teamwork and leadership skills. We work 30 minutes on skills and 30 minutes on instructional match play. For proper development, students must sign up for at least two days per week. POLICIES: To provide better service to members, the following policies will be enforced as of May 2019. Clinics may no longer be pro-rated. There will not be a “pay-as-you-go” rate. Your account will be charged prior to the start of the session and no refunds will be made. You must cancel your private lesson 24-hours in advance or your account will be charged. A minimum of six participants are needed each time for an event to be held. There will be a $10 fee for late registration to events and clinics. Please note that times and days may be subject to change. If there are less than three participants in a clinic, it will be cancelled or re-scheduled. Rain outs may be scheduled during weekends.
