The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) is one of the leading healthcare systems for veterans in the VA Heart of Texas Health Care Network. Serving over 100,000 veterans each year, the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital at STVHCS provides an array of healthcare services, including acute medical, surgical, mental health, and primary care.
Due to recognized need, a second 16-suite Fisher House will be constructed offering up to 5,840 nights of lodging a year. This new house will double savings each year up to $1.4 million.
