With over 20 years of professional experience as a qualified chartered surveyor and valuer, Matthew has built a reputation for giving exceptional advice to his clients especially in advising on complex country sales.

Matthew has been involved in all aspects of rural professional work and is now fully focused on the prime property market, working with clients including a number of private high-net-worth individuals as well as trusts, deceased estates, charities and corporate bodies.

Matthew is also a Spears 500 recommended Country Specialist.

Richard leads our farm agency team and plays a key role within the National Country Agency Team. He works closely with agency colleagues nationwide to deliver outstanding agency advice to his diverse clientele.

Working on a national scale, Richard oversees the sale and purchase of farms, country estates, and mixed-use rural portfolios, supporting highnet-worth individuals, family offices, corporates, institutions, developers, and charitable organisations.

With expertise in high-value and complex deals, Richard is known for his clear, strategic, and practical guidance. He also assists clients and investors interested in acquiring medium to long-term strategic land across the UK.

Richard frequently handles private, off-market transactions, ensuring the utmost discretion for both sellers and buyers.

Alasdair heads up our residential and rural team and ensures that the best possible service is delivered to all our clients. Before joining us in 2010, Alasdair worked in central London and then the Midlands focusing on prime property sales. In addition to managing the residential and rural agency team, Alasdair works for a variety of private clients in a broad geographic area across the Midlands. He regularly handles complex property disposals and acquisitions.

Stuart joined us in 2010 after 19 years with Knight Frank. His roles within the business have included Divisional Managing Partner and member of the Management Board and Leadership Team. His strategic and planning skills are vital to his agency work.

Stuart’s client work is varied but focuses on the disposal of prime property within the rural and residential markets. Stuart spends much of his time dealing with country estate disposals and leads this niche service area for the National Country Agency Team.

In addition to country house, farm and estate sales, Stuart has involvement in development property, institutional work, portfolio disposals, advisory work for family offices, acquisitions and a variety of consultancy work for private clients.
