With “The Contemporary Persia Collection”, Christian Fischbacher and architect and designer Hadi Teherani have designed a furnishing fabrics collection that reflects the beauty and diversity of Persia. In an intensive creative dialogue, Creative Director Camilla Fischbacher and Hadi Teherani have followed in the footsteps of their Persian roots. The collection‘s furnishing fabrics and rugs reflect Iran‘s scenic and cultural wealth in elegant, refined designs. Inspired by the unique landscape of Iran, by the use of bricks in ancient and contemporary Iranian architecture and by Persian calligraphy, the collection’s colour palette ranges from restrained, earthy tones to strong colour accents. The graphic patterns and soft colour gradients of the fabrics are a contemporary interpretation of Iran’s vibrant aesthetics.
