Featuring vocalist Jackie Gage, this joyful tribute brings Armstrong’s timeless music to life with beloved classics, New Orleans-inspired rhythms, and the warmth, humor, and spirit that made “Satchmo” a worldwide icon — a memorable evening of jazz, celebration, and musical history. A NORDIC HOLIDAY CELEBRATION DECEMBER 11 | 7:30 PM | $28/$33/$38 In the spirit of Yule, two-time Grammy Award winner Mads Tolling brings the Christmas traditions of his Copenhagen youth to life, blending Nordic customs with the joyful spirit of American jazz. Cool Yule features a special tribute to Denmark’s Hans Christian Andersen, including a medley of songs from Frozen and other fables. The concert also honors Julemanden (Santa Claus) and festive Yuletide traditions, alongside jazz-infused arrangements of “Santa Baby,” “My Favorite Things,” “The Christmas Song,” and more. A MUSICAL TRIBUTE TO PHIL COLLINS & GENESIS DECEMBER 19 | 7:30 PM | $29/$32/$38 Phil of Genesis brings the music of Phil Collins and Genesis to life in this high-energy tribute show. Featuring seasoned musicians who faithfully recreate the sound and energy of the original recordings, the band delivers hit after hit from two legendary acts. From soaring ballads to chart-topping anthems, every performance honors the timeless songs that defined a generation. ART GALLERIES The Firehouse Arts Center features exhibitions that highlight works by both established and emerging regional artists in a variety of styles, genres, and themes. The Harrington Gallery, the largest viewing area, is a spacious yet intimate exhibition space comprised of two rooms that contain architectural structures and remnants of the original Firehouse #1 Engine Bay. The Firehouse Arts Center also includes two exhibition spaces within the foyer and on the second floor, dedicated to solo exhibitions of Bay Area artists and Pleasanton Art League members.
