DataGene launches a new index
Greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) is one of the more frequently used terms in the agricultural sector in recent times. DataGene has released a new index - the so-called “Sustainability Index” (SI) in the recent Australian August proof release. The SI places greater emphasis on traits that reduce emissions intensity, such as production, survival and feed saved.
The inaugural #1 Sustainability Indexed ranked Holstein is Kirk Andrews Fon Doo (ST Australia) and #1 Sustainability Indexed ranked Jersey is White Star Douglas (GAC).
