Existing demand for direct-selling companies is rising. Direct selling companies are responsible for ensuring that the model criteria are followed. Obtaining a direct sales license is a legal business concept that can result in a prosperous enterprise. The limited liability partnership act from 2008 or the companies act from 2013 must have been used to form the direct selling organization. The entity is required to follow all applicable statutory formalities of the Central and State governments, including but not limited to taxation laws, trade licenses, the Shops, and Establishments Act, the Legal Metrology Act of 2009, the Consumer Protection Act of 2019, custom duty laws, and sector-specific laws, by the requirements and norms. Because direct selling registration requires more work and paperwork than most people understand, many attempts to register an MLM are unsuccessful.
