Trust me that apart from planning the actual films around his centenary, any time he turns up in another film we’ve included as part of our programme, it has been a sheer coincidence. Thus far in 2026 we’ve played Christine, Wild at Heart and now The Straight Story and One From the Heart. The man turns up everywhere! We’ve gone ahead and got our screening of Paris, Texas on sale, and other films will be on sale soon...
