Inspired by the work of Tim Kelly, US artist and curator, the Connection Project is a visual collaborative arts project based on the notion that although we are all individuals, we have a place in the community and are better together.
In support of starting a national conversation about loneliness and what it means to be connected, 500 individuals including artists, celebrities, politicians, school children, community groups, as well as Feros Care staff, volunteers and clients; painted a piece of a giant jigsaw puzzle with what ‘belonging’ means to them.
The result saw hundreds of jigsaw puzzle pieces assembled to form a large-scale art installation which was unveiled at the launch of Be Someone For Someone.
