WorkingDraftNotice
TThis report is based on approximately 30 selfassessment questionnaires completed by representatives of organizations and institutions from Poland, Ukraine and other EU countries. The percentages presented below are preliminary aggregated results based on the current dataset and should be verified after the final review of all questionnaires.
PurposeandContext
The pilot Inclusion Self-Assessment was developed within Activity A4 – 'ODOM TC - Open Doors, Open Minds'.Its objective was to assess the organisational readiness of participating organisations to implement inclusion in a systematic way and to tailor the training programme to the identified needs.
Methodology
The questionnaire covered organizational policies, governance, anti-discrimination procedures, accessibility, participation of people with fewer opportunities, staff competences and organizational practices.
The survey involved approximately 30 organizations from Poland, Ukraine and other EU countries. Although the sample is not statistically representative, it provides valuable evidence of recurring organisational challenges.

FEISCommentary
While organizations generally recognise inclusion as an important value, the pilot indicates that this commitment is often not reflected in formal organizational systems such as policies, procedures, designated responsibilities or regular monitoring.
This demonstrates a clear need for structured implementation support.
Recommendations
Adopt a written Inclusion Policy,
Appoint an Inclusion Coordinator or responsible team,
Introduce anti-discrimination procedures,
Collect anonymous feedback regularly,
Strengthen participation of people with fewer opportunities in decision-making,
Improve accessibility of events and communication,
Provide regular inclusion training for staff and volunteers,
Use periodic organizational self-assessment.
InclusionEssentials
The pilot directly contributed to the creation of the free Udemy course 'Inclusion Essentials'.
The course includes short video lessons, downloadable templates, an Inclusion Policy template, accessibility checklists, a self-assessment tool and practical implementation guidance.
FutureDevelopment
The pilot findings will be used as the foundation for developing a comprehensive organisational inclusion support model combining advanced e-learning, regional workshops, mentoring, implementation visits, case studies and a Polish-Ukrainian Inclusion Network.
