90th Anniversary Message Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is turning 90! Since opening in 1935, we’ve grown our footprint, modernized animal care, and set the standard for free, science-driven marine education. With bilingual programs that reflect our vibrant community, we’ve broken barriers such as becoming California’s first sensory-certified aquarium. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re thrilled to keep welcoming visitors and can’t wait to debut a renewed Exhibit Hall with brand-new experiences in Spring 2026!
