GET A JOB THIS SUMMER! Make plans to get a job this summer. A summertime job is a great opportunity for you to learn how to work for money and how money works for you. Whether it’s working at the local supermarket, babysitting, car washing, house sitting, dog walking, lawn mowing, or any other opportunity you can think of, figure out what you’d enjoy doing. Then, ask around for guidance and resources you need to make it happen. Set a savings goal so the money means something to you. Then, enjoy a sense of satisfaction that comes from earning your own spending money.

K WABUNGA! FCCU.org/SaveWave This April, youth will be riding the $ave Wave into FCCU. Whether they’ve surfed or not, youth love digging their toes in the sand, playing with beach balls, and jumping in the waves. Kids will have the opportunity to visit FCCU and get tips on how to surf and save.
And we’re here to help youth start on the path to healthy saving habits. During the week of April 20-26, 2014, we will be celebrating National Credit Union Youth WeekTM. Through lots of practice, young savers will learn the secret of riding a gnarley wave that will help them achieve big-time savings.
Like surfers, young savers need tools and techniques to improve their skills.
