Nestled away from the city’s hustle, the Oasis Library invites readers into a serene world of books. This architectural marvel, housing 15,000 volumes, seamlessly blends nature with its collection areas. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a grand atrium, bathed in light from a majestic skylight. A central garden and fountain to enhance the tranquility. The Adult Collection and Reading Area encircle the atrium, offering views of the natural surroundings. The Meadow of Children’s Literature, a vibrant, whimsical space with plush seating and interactive displays, beckons young readers. Cozy, curved seating areas shaped like shelves invite patrons to settle in and enjoy their reading journey.
The building form is developed by rotating a stack of books and hollowing out the center with an atrium and greenery. The atrium serves as a serene central hub, inviting spectators and readers to gaze inward. Seated around the railing, they are surrounded by books and curved shelves that seamlessly integrate lush greenery, fostering a profound connection with nature. This harmonious blend creates an ambiance of calmness and tranquility, perfect for contemplation and intellectual exploration.
Upon entering, the expansive collection areas unfolds; The Adult Collection and Reading Area, that spans around the Atriuma to have a sight of the natural environment while reading.
The Meadow of Children’s Literature; A colorful, whimsical space with plush seating and interactive displays invites young readers to explore. The collection areas are cozy, with curved sitting areas in the form of shelves inviting patrons to settle in.
SITE DEVELOPMENT
In addition to the atrium bringing nature to the inside of the building, the site is developed such that the building sits within lush and flourishing greenery that creates a refreshing microclimate around the building
A spacious outdoor seating area located behind the building provides readers with a serene escape, allowing them to immerse themselves in nature while engaging in meaningful conversations, collaborative study sessions, or quiet contemplation.
As readers approach the site, a majestic fountain at the entrance beckons them, setting the tone for a serene and peaceful experience. The gentle sound of water creates a calming ambiance, enveloping visitors in tranquility as they park and stroll around the library.
The building is nestled amidst lush greenery on the outskirts of the city, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere that invites readers and spectators to unwind and gaze out while immersed in their reading.
The tranquil surroundings, characterized by rolling hills and verdant landscapes, provide a soothing escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. As visitors step into the building, they are enveloped in a sense of calm, allowing them to focus on the written word and let their imagination wander.

Perched on the tranquil shores of Jabi Lake in Abuja, the Lakeside Serenity Pavilion is a stunning retreat for launch and nature lovers. This architectural gem blends luxury with natural beauty, featuring sleek, curved designs that mirror the lake’s gentle waves. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer breathtaking views, seamlessly connecting indoors and outdoors.
Inside, an ambiance of elegance and tranquility prevails, with luxurious furnishings and subtle lighting enhancing the natural scenery. Whether enjoying a gourmet meal or simply relaxing, visitors are enveloped in peace and sophistication, making the Lakeside Serenity Pavilion an unforgettable Sanctuary.
Similar to the Oasis Library, the Serenity Pavilion creates a natural refreshing space within an urban development.
In a broader sense, the term “oasis” can also be used metaphorically to describe a place or situation that provides refuge, relief, or tranquility from the stresses and challenges of everyday life.
The facility is designed to be a captivating destination for visitors to Jabi Lake, providing a warm and inviting space where guests can indulge in a delightful dining experience while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake.
From this serene and tranquil vantage point, visitors can gaze out onto the majestic waterbodies, observing the gentle ripples on the lake’s surface, the vibrant aquatic life, and the ever-changing colors of the sky. Whether seeking a romantic evening, a family outing, or simply a moment of solitude, the facility offers the perfect setting to unwind, relax, and create lasting memories amidst the natural beauty of Jabi Lake.
The fluid circular form is inspired by water bodies and flow in nature.
The pavilion’s design takes inspiration from the harmonious convergence of geometric forms, featuring a circular shape nestled at the center of two intersecting ellipses. This unique configuration creates a serene and natural ambiance, evoking the tranquil atmosphere of an oasis, where lush plants and greenery thrive.

A majestic, round staircase serves as the pavilion’s centerpiece, housing a mesmerizing aquarium that showcases an array of aquatic life. As guests ascend, they’re surrounded by the soothing sounds of gently flowing water and the vibrant colors of marine creatures.
The pavilion’s upscale restaurant offers exquisite cuisine, crafted from the finest local ingredients and presented with flair. Savor delicious dishes on the expansive lakeside patio or within the elegantly appointed dining room.

This wellness cabin is a sanctuary designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It offers a tranquil retreat where individuals or couples can disconnect from the busy outside world and reconnect with nature. Inspired by natural elements, the cabin’s design aims to blend seamlessly into its surroundings,
Key features include a living area with a kitchenette, a sauna, a spa, a cold bath, a bedroom, and a shelf of books. The mission is to provide a peaceful haven for those seeking balance and harmony in their lives.
The concept of this wellness cabin is to create a sense of Invisible Architecture, by camouflaging into the environment. The grey exterior taking the color of the rock and the mirror reflecting the natural clearing.

Upon arrival, visitors are warmly welcomed into a beautifully designed Mediterraneanstyle living area, complete with a convenient kitchenette nestled alongside. As they make their way deeper into the space, they’ll discover a serene sauna perfect for steaming, a rejuvenating spa, and a refreshing cold bath centrally located for ultimate relaxation. Ascending to the upper level, guests will find a cozy bedroom retreat and a thoughtfully curated library shelf, inviting lodgers to escape into the pages of their favorite books. The pièce de résistance is the glazed wall situated in front of the bedroom, framing an idyllic natural clearing that serves as the perfect backdrop for studying, reflection, or simply taking in the beauty of nature.
