MAY/JUNE 2012 | EDITOR’S NOTE

S

an Diego is heating up as everyone is all abuzz with summer plans, as students are finishing final exams, others planning time off from work for vacation and as plenty of tourists stop by to enjoy all of what our beautiful county has to offer. Move over “May Gray” and “June Gloom,” we’ve got summer plans and this issue of Fashion 5.0 will put you in the mood for the summer to come. I personally haven’t waited to jump outside in a bikini for the summer months to come around, because that’s the beauty of our Southern California life. We see the sun and a fairly hot day and we find ourselves basking in it (I think I remember a hot day in January I might have done this.). But as a true bikini season works its way toward us and we find ourselves wearing less and less clothing, the most important accessory is your confidence. Feeling your best from the inside out is my favorite trick. But how do you do it? One of my personal favorites is a great cleanse that will refresh and reset your body. Check page 7 for some great bikini-ready tips from Lori Kenyon of Ritual Wellness, and make sure you get your discount code, you’ll all want to be juicing in the next few months as summer makes its way in. This month we had the pleasure of spending a day with the beautiful Alexis Bellino of The Real Housewives of Orange County. We had so much fun playing dress up with Alexis and hanging out in her home for the day. She gave us an update on all of her exciting endeavors and offered us a glimpse into her busy life as a working mom in the entertainment industry. Don’t miss her interview on page 16. I wish you all the best as many of you are breaking free for summer as you finish up the school year, and congratulations to those of you celebrating your graduation. Let these summer months to come be memorable. Cheers!

Since joining The Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 5, Alexis Bellino has certainly put a new spin on the term “housewife,” dazzling the set with jewels, designer duds and a great body. Alexis lives a comfortable life in Dana Point with her husband, Jim Bellino, and three young children — 6-year-old James and 4-year-old twins, Melania and Mackenna. According to Bellino, “Fashion 5.0 was such a fun, trendy, hot group to work with! They styled me to the nines!”

Originally from Hawaii, Eric Lingle moved to San Diego in 2002 and began his professional video career shooting underwater video as a U.S. Navy diver. After graduating from The Art Institute, he started his company Web Video Solutions. In regard to working with James Norton on the May/June cover shoot, Lingle said, “James is a cool cat. Super mellow and laidback, and a true master of his craft. The more I work with him, the more I appreciate his personality and his work.”

Originally from the Inland Empire, Ashley Guyatt is now a junior at Point Loma Nazarene University majoring in fashion merchandising. With a passion for fashion and a plan to pursue a career in the industry after graduation, she reached out to Fashion 5.0 for some experience. According to Guyatt, “We always have so much fun at photo shoots, and produce great work at the same time. I have never met people who are as talented, passionate and fun as this team!”

GUEST COLUMNIST

LORI KENYON PHOTO BY ALEX ABERCROMBIE Lori is the cofounder of Ritual Wellness, the maker of Ritual Cleanse. She is also a Certified Nutritional Consultant and a member of the New York State Bar Association. Although Lori has had a love of fitness and nutrition since playing competitive sports as a teenager, it was not until recently that she was able to marry her passions with her career. Before that, she spent a dozen years in finance and law. In 2010, Lori and her workout partner, Marra St. Clair, began Ritual Wellness. Their goal was to help people “reset” their eating habits — to eat real food rather than processed food. They launched Ritual Cleanse, “a better way to cleanse.” The 100% organic, raw, coldpressed juices are a celebrity favorite and are designed to help people rid the body of toxins while flooding it with nutrients extracted from nearly 20 pounds of organic locally grown produce daily. In addition to helping clients take a “back to basics” approach to nutrition and fitness, Lori also went back to her competitive roots and entered her first national fitness show in 2010, taking the top honor. Lori continues to compete in the NPC Bikini Division. Lori currently resides in Newport Beach and devotes her time to growing Ritual Wellness. In June, Ritual will open its first retail outlet at The Camp in Orange County. Additional locations are planned, including sites in San Diego. BLUE BIKINI BY DELANO WEAR

BY LORI KENYON

Certified Nutritional Consultant

As the days get longer and the sun shines brighter, plans for summer at our gorgeous Southern California beaches begin to develop. For many of us, this also brings the realization that the boyfriend jeans and chunky sweaters will be traded in for shorts and sundresses. Here are a few steps to take to make sure you are ready!

EAT RIGHT

Start off every day with a freshly pressed green juice or smoothie. The nutrition and live enzymes from all those organic veggies and fruit will help repair your skin and give you that summer glow from the inside out. It will also help pull toxins from your cells, reducing the look of cellulite.

SHAPE YOUR SHOULDERS

Strong, shapely shoulders can make the entire body look slimmer. Most of us carry very little fat on our upper bodies, so any toning to the shoulders yields real changes in appearance. We can work on triceps at the same time, so all those sleeveless tops and dresses will look super sexy. Pushups are easy to do anywhere, whether at home, at the gym or on the road. Do three sets of 10 pushups per day and watch your chest, arms and shoulders improve. If you need to start with modified pushups (AKA “girl pushups”), don’t worry, they work just as well. Alternate your pushups with dips. You can do these on a bench at the gym or on the edge of your couch while you watch your favorite reality show.

GO FOR LOVELY LEGS AND GLUTES

Lunges will help tone and lift your derriere, making your legs look longer. Do 10 on each leg and then alternate. If you have your eye on an itsy bitsy bikini, try pop-squats (basically a jumping jack/ squat combo) to burn some extra calories while you tone. Be sure to refuel your body with a healthy snack following your workout. Avoid processed energy bars and choose real foods instead. My favorite option is Ritual’s protein-rich Almond Mylk.

FAVORITE PLACES TO EAT, DRINK& SHOP SERENITY RESTAURANT & LOUNGE ASIAN FUSION IN THE MARINA BY ALEX McNAIR

CREMOLOSE THE GASLAMP’S NEWEST EDITION

You don’t need to hop an international flight for authentic gelato anymore. Cremolose on Fifth Avenue may be the next best thing to sipping fresh cappuccino at a genuine European café. Serving bona fide gelato and specialty desserts the only thing missing is the Italian countryside.

BY ALEX McNAIR

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as for late night dining, Cremolose is an intimate, friendly venue despite stretching to two stories. The downstairs lounge showcases gorgeous Italian pastries like cannoli and cream puffs next to a case of authentic gelato and cremolose. Cremolose is a scrumptious dairy-free alternative to gelato. The sorbet-like dessert has a fresh fruit base with the same creamy texture as gelato. A range of fruit flavors are available as well as favorites such as rich pistachio.

The word “serenity” speaks of tranquility and calm, which is what you will sense as you walk into Serenity Restaurant & Lounge. Overlooking the Convention Center in the Marina district, Serenity features glass windows with 180-degree views, providing a romantic backdrop to partake in delicious Asian fusion. The octagonal bar is a unique architecture from which you may sip uniquely blended cocktails and watch day turn to night on the downtown skyline. The bartenders at Serenity have integrity in the concoctions they blend and pair to your cuisine. The detail and care used in shaking and stirring craft cocktails have led them to compete in cocktail mixology nationally, which one can easily tell by the aromatics and garnishes on the beautiful libations. The Pacific Fizz is refreshing with cucumber and brightened by a sprig of thyme. Egg white is used to create a natural froth and creaminess not often seen at local lounges and restaurants. Work your way to the wine and sake list for other interesting pairings.

Grab a gelato and a coffee and relax as you do your research paper using the free Wi-Fi at the lounge downstairs. Enjoy a specialty cocktail blended with house cremolose to wind up for a night in the Gaslamp or day at the ballpark.

The sake list has apt descriptions of each varietal, from traditional to clean to aromatic. Offerings are available both by the glass and by the bottle and your knowledgeable server will help you navigate to a perfect choice for your dinner.

When it’s time to celebrate you and your crew can nab a table in the mezzanine to enjoy sampler platters, either hot or cold, featuring some of the most popular items available like a cheesy stuffed eggplant or calamari. The rest of the menu has traditional Italian cuisine and rich flavors, including pasta with a pistachio pesto and salty Italian speck, a type of bacon. The woodfire oven is ablaze for authentic pizzas until midnight throughout the week and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, so stop by for a late night snack before cabbing it home.

San Francisco-based Executive Chef Josh Hernandez has created a sophisticated and savory menu with Asian flavors from Malaysia, Thailand and beyond. You will start your culinary journey with an amuse bouche, a savory and enticing bite that awakens the palate while showcasing the style and flavors that are uniquely Serenity.

The apparel is mostly feminine and elegant, a very 1950s-to-1970s look, which is very “in” right now. MYTHBUSTER 5

8 SUMMER MYTHS DEBUNKED

MYTH: Lesser the clothes, the better. TRUTH: It is common to find that men and women resort to a lesser amount of clothing during summers in the belief that it makes them feel more comfortable. On the other hand, when exposed to the harmful rays of the sun, the skin becomes more susceptible to disease. Therefore, you need to keep yourself covered, especially if you have fair skin with freckles and moles.

1

MYTH: Wait a half hour after eating before you can safely go swimming. TRUTH: This one seemed almost universally accepted when I was a child and is still believed today. While it’s true that the digestive process does divert the circulation of the blood toward the gut and, to a certain extent, away from the muscles, the fact is that an episode of drowning caused by swimming on a full stomach has never been documented. There’s a theoretical possibility that one could develop a cramp while swimming with a full stomach. As with any exercise after eating, swimming right after a big meal might be uncomfortable, but it won’t cause you to drown

2

MYTH: Missing a meal keeps the body light. TRUTH: Physiologically, it is not advisable to miss a meal, as large gaps in nutrition tax the body in all levels. It can primarily impair the body’s digestive process, leading to accumulation of toxins. It is best to eat light, regular meals consisting of grains, vegetables and fruits and drink lots of water to flush out the toxins from your system.

3

MYTH: Air conditioning will keep you cool. TRUTH: Air conditioners have become an important part of our lives. Even though they do help keep our bodies cool for certain periods of time, in the longer run, they impact our health negatively. Air conditioners block the natural ventilation of any space, thereby leading to accumulation of contaminated air. In many individuals, headaches and fatigue are often attributable to the overuse of ACs.

7

8

MYTH: Dark-skinned people don’t need sunscreen. TRUTH: People with lighter skins have less melanin, the pigment that absorbs UV radiation and protects skin, than darker-skinned people. While light-skinned people will be very sensitive to the effects of UV rays from the sun, those with darker skins can still be affected by damaging UV radiation. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends routine sunscreen use with an SPF of at least 15.

4

MYTH: Body massage should be avoided in summers. TRUTH: Oils like almond oil and olive oil are considered “heating” during summers. But, a daily massage with cooling coconut oil is known to nourish and clear heat from the skin. After the massage, wash off with a cool shower.

BONUS TIP: Eating 6 small meals a day will boost your body’s metabolism.

MAY/JUNE 2012 // fashionFIVEO.com

mandalaraw.blogspot.com

MYTH : You need to burn first before you start to tan. TRUTH: Sunburn is a burn and not a prerequisite stage for a tan. Sunburn will result in skin damage, redness and eventual peeling. Any amount of sun exposure poses an increased risk for the development of skin cancers and premature aging.

MYTH: Iced drinks are a great way to stay cool in summers. TRUTH: Everyone loves a cold refreshing drink on a hot day and you need to increase your fluid intake during summers, but be careful about iced drinks, as they are known to slow down the digestive process. Instead, try mixing fresh lime juice with water. Coconut water is also very cooling and healthy.

Bikini season comes at us like a bucket of water in the face during a deep sleep. Panic mode sets in as we book our spray tan and pedicure appointments. We scold ourselves for not working out enough as we stand in front of our full-length mirrors, gripped by that one body part that’s always bugged us. We dread having to pick out a new swimsuit for the coming sunshine days. Ladies, get your spray tans, get your pedicures, but accept that unless you want to place yourself in a prison of harsh restrictions, your body type will not change. You can diet and exercise until you’re blue in the face and you’ll still never have stick-skinny legs. Rock your bod proudly because this swimsuit season lays out all kinds of trends for different body types. There is something to make everyone feel fresh and fab. Big boobs, short legs, extra belly -- there are trends that will feel made especially for you. We just need to learn what works for us, tell our negative attitudes to peace out and welcome the sunshine days!

polka dot This two-piece is a universal fit for all body types. It comes with a moderate bottom or a Brazilian bottom (which makes the booty pop) and the top comes in bandeau and triangle style. The classic polka dot pattern with the red logo keeps it timeless and the black frill trim adds that funk factor. “Black Betty” black and white triangle top and moderate bottom by Fortune 421, available at Fortune421.com, both $30.00.

It’s 2012 and the swimwear world is buzzing with patterns of all kinds: floral, tribal, classic and everything loud. On the opposite end, colorblocking is trending in swimwear as well, but this time with richer colors. They’re also taking last year’s comeback of the one-piece full throttle this year with intricate cutouts and detailing. Structure plays more of a role than ever in this season’s pieces as well. Get excited, love your body and read on to zero in on which of these trends is going to work for you.

DID YOU KNOW: Forest greens, navy blues and maroons are great for complementing fair skin.

FASHION FIVEO UNDERCOVER

BELLINO

Fashion 5.0 Magazine went behind the scenes with Alexis Bellino from The Real Housewives of Orange County on our recent shoot. We sat down with Alexis after a long day of fabulous outfit changes and endless shots of pure photography magic to find out what really goes on in this housewife’s everyday life. She shared a bit of her journey that started in the small town she came from, leading her to the hustle and bustle that she has found on the West Coast with her husband and three small children.

Not only is Alexis finding time to balance her duties as a wife and mother, she is also wrapping up the filming of another season of The Real Housewives, perfecting two fashion lines, doing correspondence work for Fox 5 San Diego and writing a book. There’s nothing this supermom can’t do! Behind the cameras and off the red carpet, Bellino is just a normal mom who gets up before the sun each day so she can make sure that her children are where they need to be and that her house is in order. The only difference is that Bellino has a fabulous Birkin on her arm and she doesn’t let her crazy schedule stop her from pairing striking stilettos with each outfit. BY ASHLEY GUYATT

Let’s just start with some background. Where are you originally from? I’m from Hannibal, Missouri, a small town of 18,000 people. Okay, so how did you get to California? I always knew growing up I didn’t want to live in Missouri, I wanted to live in New York or California, so I tried New York out for a few years. That didn’t work so here I am on the West Coast!

So far it looks like it’s been a good process! How is bringing the public into your private life? How has that been? Wow, that’s probably one of the most difficult aspects of my career. Everything you do and say is before America — you’ll get scrutinized for the way you brush your teeth, or for the way you dress, or for something you said that was taken wrong. That part’s hard but you get used to it.

Since moving to California, how did you come about to be on The Real Housewives of Orange County? Well, I knew Gina Q just from being around town and being in the same social circle. She came to me one day at Mastro’s, which is a very popular restaurant here in town, and said, “You know, I hope you don’t mind, I just turned your name in to The [Real] Housewives of Orange County, your family is perfect!” I said, “Okay… that’s very odd… but okay.” She said, “They’ll be calling you.” And sure enough the next day they called me and it was interview after interview, and then you’re done and here I am three years later.

What’s the average day in the life of Alexis? I wake up at like 6:30 every day. I get the kids up, get [them] ready for school and take them to school. 8:30, I either work out, or if I’m filming, or have to do something with my dress line, I start working. And I work from 8:30 to 1 or 2 and then I pick the kids up at school at 2 and come home and start the nighttime routine with dinner. There is some more traveling that’s involved so I do go away about 3 days every couple months, so that’s a lot more than we were ever expecting.

DID YOU KNOW: You can check out more of Alexis’s style and shop her lines at www.shopalexisbellino.com!

interview

Now, it seems like you are very hands-on with your children, it looks like you love being a mom. Is it hard to balance doing everything you’re doing on the side with being a mom? How are you balancing that? It’s really hard because I was portrayed the first season as having all these nannies, which we did, but everyone got the idea from that that I didn’t do anything with my children. The nannies were only there to help me clean up everything and do all the work that I didn’t want to do because I am a very hands-on mom, and you know, it’s really hard because even now with my career blossoming like it is, I don’t want to give that up. I don’t want to miss volunteering at the kids’ school, I don’t want to miss “Loved Ones Day of Lunch” tomorrow at school, because you get to take a loved one to lunch with you. So... it’s been really a juggling act. I do get worn out beyond belief but I’m doing okay and we’re happy. I mean the kids are here with you guys today, they just come along for the ride! They’re like, “What are we doing today, Mom?”

That’s great, and then you can get a lot of favorites from everything. Who would you say that your line is geared towards? Both of my lines, Alexis by Tal Sheyn and Alexis Couture, are geared toward women around 20 to probably 50, and we want strong, independent women. My Alexis Couture line is a lot more casual, I have two maxi dresses that I have online there, and then just more like a daytime, I call it a tea party dress, because it’s like you’re going to wear it to a high tea with the girls with a little hat. So it’s a little bit more casual, but it’s definitely geared toward moms and women who just want to feel sexy and independent and have that one go-to garment in their wardrobe.

I know that you’re very involved with your children. And then you’re doing the show. Now what else are you doing on the side? I’ve heard about Fox 5 and your fashion line. So tell me about Fox 5, what are you doing with that? I’m doing a lifestyle correspondence position at Fox 5 San Diego, which has just been a blessing and so much fun. I have my two dress lines, Alexis Couture by myself and Alexis by Tal Sheyn, which is a collaboration with a partner. Both of those lines we just ran [and] we walked the runway in the LA fashion week. So that’s just taken off. It’s just been really exciting. I’m starting to write a book and been to New York to meet with my publisher a couple times already, so it’s been really, really exciting.

That’s so exciting! So what are your top three must-haves of an everyday outfit? Oh, I am a definite girl who needs to have one big, chunky piece of jewelry. Whether it’s the earrings, or a big ring, or the big necklace, I need one staple piece of jewelry that just makes a statement. And I think a Birkin is always, I have to have my Birkin with me. And then just a really hot pair of heels. Because I can wear jeans with heels or I can wear a dress with heels, just give me a pair of heels!

With everything going on, how did you decide you wanted to start a fashion line? How did you get inspired? You know, for many years I’ve been spending a lot of time and a lot of money at the alterations lady, taking a sleeve off, adding this, changing this, embellishing that, and I just had a passion for it. I’ve always loved fashion, took a couple fashion courses in college. And, you know, I just realized when I had the show and I had a platform, I thought, I’m going to make this dream a reality, not sit and be scared, oh gosh what if I can’t do it? I just wanted to live my dream, and I was going to kick myself if I didn’t take the opportunity that I had, so I just took it and it’s doing fabulous.

Do you plan on going anywhere else with your fashion line? Like jewelry or swimwear, or anything like that? I’ve dabbled a little in swimwear, I decided it’s just I need to really focus, I don’t want to get overwhelmed and put my eggs in too many baskets. I want to focus, and I’ve really just honed in on these two lines and I want to make them as perfect as possible. Who knows where it will go from there!

How has the shoot been today so far, have you been having fun? Wow, okay, Fashion 5.0 Magazine takes it to another level. Like we have Morgan playing the piano, pizza comin’ in, like 20 people around, everyone’s jivin’, is laughing and having a great time. It’s been a blast. Not to mention, I mean, hello, look at the outfits I’ve been able to wear today! I know, you’ve looked great in all of them, I’m jealous! Thank you! You guys might have a hard time getting out that door with some of these outfits!

FASHION 5.0 VIDEO INTERACTION GO BEHIND THE SCENES WITH FASHION 5.0 TO LEARN ABOUT THE TRENDS FEATURED ED IN “BELLISSIMA BELLINO”

That’s great. I looked at the line, I really liked it, and I’m excited for it. I’m interested to know, who is your favorite designer? Oh my gosh. One? I have to name one? Wow, there’s so many! I love Alexander McQueen, I just think that it’s just amazing. I love Valentino. I love Chanel, even though she’s very conservative, I just love looking at and feeling all of her fabrics. So you get a lot of inspiration from a lot of designers? A lot of designers. I’ve always, you know, looked at the fit or the feel or the variety of one designer, and then I thought, I’m just going to incorporate what I love from each designer, and add it to my collection. SOULMATE

What is a soulmate? Do you believe there is only one person in this world that you are destined to spend your life with, your “other half?” A soulmate is someone that makes you feel complete when you’re together and brings an unforgettable warmth and comforting feeling to your soul. To boost your odds, here are 5 recommendations for finding your perfect match!

1

BY JILLIAN MARIE DYER

JUST BELIEVE If you don’t believe, you won’t receive! The first step to finding your soulmate is believing that one even exists! Make a list of what a soulmate means to you, embrace those qualities and trust that there is someone out there looking for you.

LOVE IS PATIENT, LOVE IS KIND Too many people settle for Mr. Right Now, rather than looking for Mr. Right. Finding true love is possible so don’t let your biological clock or society pressure you into “just settling.” Some people get lucky enough to find their soulmates at a young age while others find them much later in life. Remember, love has no agenda, so don’t let age or timing interrupt you from living your life. Instead, think positively and don’t give up. Just think of it as that each day you are one step closer to finding your soulmate.

DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER Are you one of those shallow people that judge others on their appearance without even giving them a chance? Then you and the majority of the population are usually missing out on the best opportunities, conversations and people. Instead, try having no expectations and judge people solely on their actions. Love comes in all shapes and sizes.

4

FIND YOUR SOUL, THEN YOUR MATE If you don’t know who you are, then you will find it a difficult time attracting your soulmate. Instead of waiting for your soulmate to appear, make yourself stand out. Expressing your individuality is a courageous way to advertise to potential soulmates what your real interests and goals are. Take the time to finetune your skills and take risks and adventures to grow as a person. Seek out what your passions are and what makes you happy and conquer!

3 2 5 EXPLORE OUTSIDE THE BOX Take a step back and look at how you are spending your time. You are unlikely to meet any soulmate prospects if you are glued to the TV or not exposing yourself in different environments. Be a brave heart and get out there. This is the time to start walking the talk. If you say you want to learn how to salsa dance, jump out of an airplane, get a tattoo, then do it. The more people you meet, the bigger your social circle gets, hence more connections and interactions. Make it a daily habit to commit to doing a random act of kindness for a complete stranger such as buying the customer behind you coffee.

BONUS TIP: Don’t force love. Good things come to those who wait, so just relax and let things happen naturally.

TRUE OR FALSE CAN YOU DETECT THE LIE? BY MORGAN FERRARI

We’ve heard them all, the old wives’ tales about wet hair and colds, satin pillows and fewer wrinkles, but which ones are completely fictitious or merely an exaggeration of the truth? Read on to find out the veracity of a few of these fables. MYTH 1: You can shrink your pores. False. Many think that with a good toner pores will suddenly shrink. Unfortunately, it’s physically impossible to change the size of pores. Toner’s main purpose is to remove any leftover cleanser or makeup, so use a nonalcoholic product to avoid stripping the skin of natural oils and water, like Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner.

PORE CLEANER

MYTH 2: One moisturizer is all you need. False. We’re not just talking about a summer moisturizer versus a winter one. It’s also important to know the difference between a day and a night cream. A day moisturizer is meant to sit on the skin in order to help protect it from the environment and from losing hydration. Look for products like Olay Complete Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15. A night moisturizer like Origins High Potency Night-AMins Mineral Enriched Renewal Cream has an increased amount of lipids, vitamins and oils to aid in absorbing and replacing lost water.

Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner, available at Target for $6.49.

Remember, even beauty products have a shelf life. For some products it could be 6 months and for others up to 2 years! Do your research to make sure you’re not hanging on to yours too long.

MYTH 4: It’s best to shave in the opposite direction of hair’s growth. True-ish. This method is best used to achieve the closest shave, but for some that can mean irritation and ingrown hairs. According to Brentwood, California-based cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Jessica Wu, “When a shave is super close, the hair can actually retract into the skin slightly and curl back on itself during the first few days after shaving.” Sound familiar? It’s best to shave with the direction of the hair. If it’s hard to break the habit try Clio’s Hypergroom Body Groomer which offers bidirectional trimming and shaving.

MYTH 3: Wearing nail polish will make your nails turn yellow. True-ish. Just like our skin, our nails are porous and will absorb the products that have been layered on them. Darker colors, especially reds, have more pigments to be absorbed and a higher probability of staining your nails. There’s a simple solution, though. Paint on a clear base coat like Essie First Base Base Coat. Yep, it’s as easy as that. So keep on trying out those outlandish nail trends as often your little heart desires.

DAY TRIPPER Olay Complete Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15, available at Target for $7.50.

GET SMOOTH Clio’s Hypergroom Body Groomer, available at CVS for $11.99.

NIGHT SOLDIER Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Mineral Enriched Renewal Cream, available at Macy’s for $39.50.

CLEAR AS DAY Essie First Base Base Coat, available at Ulta for $8.00.
