So it’s that time of year for new beginnings and aspirations for the year ahead. It’s always good
to think about stretching yourself and experiencing new things in life, so, on page 23 we look
at some challenges for the year ahead that could take you out of your comfort zone. You never
know what you may discover.
Also, in this issue of Families, we interview ‘The Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery’ on page 14 to find
out how they run their setting and their views on what to look for when choosing a nursery for
your child. Our education articles look at SATS, mentoring, shared reading and logical thinking,
while on pages 16 and 17 we also have a big focus on anxiety.
We can’t resist running an article on the great outdoors too, as we feel that
it’s so important for families to get out at this time of year. So don’t forget
to turn to page 15 for our article on getting muddy.
