This book on native plants in an urban riparian forest was created by students of a 6th grade environmental science class at the French American International School in Portland, Oregon. The goal was to learn about ecological succession by chronicling the changes in native plants through photos and research over a five-month time span. This book includes pictures, diagrams and information about 28 native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants.
