Faimous Harrison

From community colleges to regional universities, Dr. Faimous Harrison has built a distinguished career focused on expanding educational opportunity and advancing mission-driven institutional growth. As District President of Wenatchee Valley College, he leads a Minority-Serving Institution known for its service to rural, agricultural, and tribal communities. His presidency emphasizes strategic planning, community engagement, student success, and the development of workforce-aligned academic pathways. Before joining WVC, he served as Campus Dean/CEO of the CSU Stanislaus Stockton Campus, where he strengthened interdisciplinary programs and community-based initiatives. His earlier roles at Central Washington University and within Washington’s community college system reflect a lasting commitment to access and innovation. Nationally, he has contributed research, presentations, and leadership within the National Association of Branch Campus Administrators.
