FAI are aftermarket industry leaders in timing chain kits for range, quality and the comprehensive nature of the components included in each box. As well as a new look, the 500+ page 2017 catalogue contains all the application data and simple referencing required to make a fast and accurate decision on the right kit for the job. The ever expanding FAI TCK range currently stands at over 320 part numbers, each one containing everything required to complete the job; down to the last stretch bolt and sealant. The premium quality components use OE material such as PA66 Nylon for guide rails and Swedish sourced powder metal for gear and sprocket manufacture.

PTFE Oil Seals FAI offer a large range of Oil Seals using the latest technology PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) material on the seal lip. This modern material creates a perfect low friction seal between the rotating shaft and the external environment. Due to incorrect installation, PTFE sealing surfaces can be damaged. The method in which the PTFE lip is produced and cut creates a ‘memory’ behaviour causing the material to constantly try and return to its original shape. This material creates a tight seal against the shaft and if damaged on installation severly impacts the integrity of the seal. Newsletter FAI tops business list FAI has been named as one of the top 100 businesses in bedfordshire in a recent report compiled by business and financial advisers Grant Thornton.

Newsletter BTCC 2016 Season Update.
Knockhill 14th August After qualifying in 8th at the Scottish circuit, FAI sponsored Adam Morgan was in a strong position to challenge the rest of the grid. The advantage was soon rendered worthless after being barged off the track by BTCC veteran Matt Neal in Race 1. This resulted in the Honda driver receiving a verbal warning and Adam finishing 22nd after struggling to climb back to the leading group. Adam really showed determination in the next two races finishing 11th in Race 2 (including fastest lap) and 6th in Race 3.
Rockingham 28th August The 31 drivers were faced with torrential downpours and lightening during the qualifying session and as conditions worsened, drivers were struggling to control their vehicles so a delay was called and after a short interruption, the drivers were back on track. With Adam pushing for a good position, he managed to cross the line and qualify in 9th. Despite the wash out qualifying race, track conditions cleared up for race day and Adams target of winning the 2016 championship was still clearly set in his mind. This positivity led the A-Class driver to achieve positions 13th, 8th and 7th respectively; leaving him 9th overall in the championship standings and joint 2nd in the independent team standings.

Newsletter Anti Roll Bar Bush Changes As of the 1st March, FAI changed the way that anti roll bar bushes are sold. After listening to customer feedback on this matter we no longer sell the bushes as single items but instead packed in pairs. All replacements of bushes require a pair so ALL of our anti roll bar bushes now have two in a pack. To minimise any disruptions, we now use the existing part number with an added K suffix to denote that it is now a kit. We would like to remind our customers of this and advise that their records are updated so that any purchase orders sent to FAI contain the new K part number. This very is important for our customer service teams when processing orders.

FAI early to market with Opel / Vauxhall Oil Pump We are pleased to announce that FAI are one of the first to market with the Opel / Vauxhall / Saab 2.0 Diesel oil pumps from 2008 to present.
