Testing As with all FAI products, our Steering & Suspension components are subjected to numerous testing phases to ensure the the best production standard.
All Major Components We offer Wishbones, Tie Rod Ends, Link Rods, Anti Roll Bar Bush Kits, Ball Joints and Rack Ends under the Steering & Suspension range and Top Strut Mount Kits and Coil Springs as standalone ranges.
Cataphoresis All steel based FAI Steering components undergo the process of cataphoresis to ensure maximum paint coverage across the surface area. This protects against water ingress and corrosion in the harsh operating environments.
Cataloguing Excellence FAI products are available on all major cataloguing platforms including TecAlliance (TecDoc), MAM, InfoRicambi and more.

Patented Red Link Rods FAI have developed and patented an improved ball pin bearing with a signature red plastic clip. The rotational torque efficiency has been improved by 55% and Ball Pin pull out force test has been improved by 12%.

Salt Spray Testing Our Steering components are tested for corrosion resistance of the surface coating, simulating accelerated conditions from the real world environment.
Strength & Load In such safety critical load-bearing components, strength is crucial. FAI components are subjected to numerous testing methods including Hardness Control, Material Load, Ball Pin Strength, Rotational Torque Testing and Link Rod Pull & Vibration Testing.
Detailed Analysis We like to delve deeper in to our quality control by undertaking detailed analysis such as Metallographic Examination and Chemical Analysis of rubber and metal components.
Lifetime & Fatigue To maximise product life span, FAI Wishbones are tested using a 3-Axis Bush endurance cycle to simulate increased wear and tear.

Production Facilities The FAI Steering & Suspension range is produced in state-of-the-art facilities with specialist capabilities including in-house Aluminium & Steel forging / sheet fabrication and horizontal & vertical machining.
Production Materials Production materials used in our Steering components follow OE design and include Carbon Steel, Aluminium, Cast Iron, Stainless Steel and DelrinÂŽ Plastic.
Design Capabilities Pairing up the latest design software and production hardware, we are able to design and manufacture to the highest specification. This includes custom mould design, CNC machining and inhouse CAD/CAM capabilities.
Robotic Laser Welding With regular investment in FAI production facilities, we are able offer product manufactured using advanced Robotic Laser Welding Technology for a high quality, high strength finish.
