Dance back in time to the American wild west with Oklahoma!–a classic, feel-good musical that follows the blossoming love story between farm girl Laurey and charming cowboy Curly as they navigate rival suitors and the challenges of frontier life. With unforgetable songs like “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “People Will Say We’re in Love,” the lively “Kansas City,” and of course “Oklahoma!”, this Rodgers & Hammerstein classic captures the heartwarming spirit of a community on the brink of change.

Vice President, Pensacola Mardi Gras Hannah Zimmern

Ifyou’ve attended a Pensacola Mardi Gras event or crossed paths with The Zimmern Team at Levin Rinke Realty, chances are you’ve already felt the impact of Hannah Zimmern — even if you didn’t know it. As Director of Operations for The Zimmern Team and Vice President of Pensacola Mardi Gras, Hannah moves through the community with an energy that blends professionalism, creativity, and hometown pride. She may be juggling two major roles, but she does it with a smile, a purpose, and a drive to make both industries stronger and more connected.

A Pensacola resident for most of her life, Hannah’s journey took her west to Baton Rouge for eight important years. There, she earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) and later her law degree from Southern University Law Center (SULC), graduating in 2022. Shortly after, she returned home — bringing with her not only a legal education but a renewed appreciation for the community roots she has always cherished.

Those roots run deep. The Zimmern Team, the family’s real estate powerhouse under Levin Rinke Realty, has been serving the Florida Panhandle for nearly three decades. As Director of Operations, Hannah steps into a leadership role that balances both residential and commercial real estate. Her focus? Growth, organization, and strengthening community connections — three things she not only talks about but actively lives. Working within a family-run team gives her the rare opportunity to blend professional ambition with the values she grew up watching: dedication, compassion, and the belief that business is strongest when relationships come frst.

On the other side of her very colorful world is Pensacola Mardi Gras (PMG), the nonproft organization she helps lead with equal passion. PMG is responsible for producing the city’s Mardi Gras events each season, bringing together locals and visitors in a shared celebration that boosts tourism, joy, and community spirit. Hannah is especially proud of this next era of PMG — one full of new events, fresh energy, and meaningful partnerships. “This year will be no exception,” she says with excitement, noting that the momentum continues to grow.

Hannah credits much of who she is to experience, mentorship, and the wisdom that comes from trying, stumbling, and trying again. “Every challenge ultimately shapes my confdence, patience, creativity, and strength,” she refects. Finding her own rhythm hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been authentic. She learned from her parents, Tonya and Danny Zimmern, who poured their hearts into Pensacola through business, friendship, and community service. Watching them gave her a blueprint — but she’s determined to honor that legacy in her own way.

Her biggest female infuence? Her mom. A true powerhouse who is smart, funny, and unapologetically herself, Tonya taught Hannah what leadership with grace looks like. Add in inspiration from pop powerhouse Sabrina Carpenter and iconic fctional frecracker Fallon Carrington, and you get a picture of the quick-witted, ambitious, authentic woman Hannah strives to be.

One of her greatest joys is helping others fnd their place — whether that’s in the home of their dreams or in a Mardi Gras Krewe that makes them feel connected. Through PMG, she has seen frsthand how transformative community belonging can be. Those moments fuel her desire to keep building bridges throughout Pensacola and beyond.

For Hannah, leadership is about people — personalities, ideas, strengths, and the beautiful chaos that happens when they all mix. She believes the best leaders give others space to grow, encourage curiosity, and support the passions that spark excitement. After all, passion often leads to unexpected doors and surprising opportunities.

And while she might not claim to have life fully fgured out, Hannah knows one thing for certain: the path may twist, turn, or surprise you, but growth always follows. If you stay curious, stay kind, and stay open to challenge, you’ll come out stronger — every single time.
