Inspired by discoveries in the renowned archive: rolling panoramic landscapes, blossoming trails, and painterly ditsies are elegantly offset with sophisticated geometrics and sartorial details. Reimagined for conventionally and digitally printed wallpapers, the collection pays homage to a legacy of craftsmanship and artistry. Celebrating Liberty’s return home for its 150th anniversary, the design house turns to its illustrious past, documented in the drawings and manuscripts by the pioneering artists of the time. Brimming with richly detailed hand-drawn illustrations, the Liberty sketchbooks unveil the aesthetic legacies treasured in the Regent Street flagship. Meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty design studio, in the heart of London, and expertly crafted using traditional and cutting-edge techniques in Italy and England. A DA M A S T I LE Discovered as a small fabric fragment in the Liberty archive, Adamas Tile is a neatly arranged geometric pattern, reminiscent of traditional Central Asian and Middle Eastern kilim motifs. Appearing in six colourways and featuring a diagonal grid of angular diamond shapes, the design’s simplicity and repetition are enriched with subtle shadow effects, creating an understated, graphic contrast. Printed with highly pigmented paints over a matt, heavy weight and high-quality paper, this design offers a luxurious chalky finish.

Aurora Ink, a modern reinterpretation of silk from this collection, brings Liberty’s artistic heritage to life as a sophisticated statement wallpaper. B E T SY B LO O M Originally created in 1933 by the artist ‘D.S.’, who designed many of Liberty’s beloved classics, Betsy is a nostalgic, stylised pattern that epitomises the quintessential 1930s Liberty floral aesthetic. Reimagined in three new colourways exclusively for interiors, Betsy has been adapted to a larger scale and enhanced with tactile, painterly textures. Printed on a matt paper, the design retains a painterly feel through its signature, loosely sketched outlines of roses, primroses, bellflowers, and berries.

Created in the Liberty studio, the design takes inspiration from the vibrant blooms of the Tudor flagship store’s world-famous flower shop. Featuring distinct blossoming sprigs, this paisley-style botanical celebrates the rich diversity of wildflower meadows. The fine linework and five harmonious colour palettes bring each bloom to life within a spacious, balanced composition. Crafted by layering pigments of colour to create an enhanced sense of depth, the paper absorbs the pigment, generating a sense of movement across the surface of the design. 44
