3) SHELL STAND a. Included Items

Extra facilities (such as tables, display stand, interior, catalogue, business cards) can be rented through COEX assigned service companies. (Rental Company: Modul / www.modul.co.kr) c.
WARNING
No fixings, other than by removable adhesive or special brackets and suspensions, may be made to the walls of Shell Stands. The advice of COEX should be sought if it is desired to fix any heavy item to the Shell Stand wall. d. ALLOCATED AREA REGULATION
All additional construction work, including light fittings, must be contained within the Shell Stand structure. It should be noted that Shell Stand walls are set within the site allocated, thereby reducing the effective floor area by approximately 50mm in each direction, and that the maximum clear headroom is 2.35m.

4) SPACE ONLY (INDIVIDUAL STAND) a. INCLUDED ITEMS
Only Space (Construction independently held by COEX assigned constructor) b. REGULATIONS - The exhibitors shall employ the attached contractors designated by COEX for the construction and erection of their stands. (THE LIST OF DESIGNATED CONTRACTORS will be distributed in according to the exhibitor's requesting) - The tops of all stands must be left open except for small private offices or reception areas, which may be fitted with a ceiling of non-combustible materials.

- It will not be permitted for contractors to use compressors, electric planes, power saws, welding machines and other motor-operated tools. - All materials used in the fabrication of the stand must be fireproofed or inherently fire resistant. - Carpet laid to the floor of the exhibition hall may be affixed only by means of easily removable materials. The exhibitor will be charged for any damage caused to the floor of the building and for the removal of adhesive residue. - No fixings may be made to the walls, floors, roof, or other parts of the exhibition hall structure. 5) CLEANING a. The organizer will be responsible for cleaning the aisles and other public areas. b. All exhibitors are responsible for the waste occurred within their booth. 6) DISMANTLING / MOVE-OUT a. EXHIBITS MOVE-OUT: Jan. 19(Fri) 2024, 17:00~ - Exhibits move-out is only available after receiving a stamp on the carry-out report by the organizer. (Carry-out report paper will be distributed in the morning on the last day of the exhibition) b. DISMANTLING: Jan. 19(Fri) 2024, 17:30~ - Waste disposal fee will be separately charged to exhibitors if their remains of plastic, wood, glass are left in the exhibition hall during move-out/dismantling period. 7) OVERTIME WORK a. Exhibitors who need to work more (apart from the given time from 08:00 ~ 20:00) during the preparation/show/dismantling period shall report for ‘overtime work’. b. Exhibitors that need overtime work must share the responsibility for additional cost generated from overtime work (Please contact the organizer to inquire about additional cost) 8) EXHIBITION BADGE DISTRIBUTION Exhibitor badges will be pre-distributed on Jan. 16(Tue) 2024 from 13:00 pm, after identifying oneself at Hall A lobby.

2) ELECTRICITY INSTALLATION A. Electric supply at the exhibition hall is more than a single phase of 220V. Therefore, exhibitors must independently prepare an AVR or a transformer, when 110V is needed.

PLACE TO BE INSTALLED - SHELL STAND: The main electric line, lighting, switch and electric socket will be installed inside the booth. * When using electricity for displayed items, all exhibitors must apply to the Education Korea secretariat. - SPACE ONLY: The main electric line will be installed for exhibitors that have applied for electricity to the Education Korea secretariat (the internal wiring must be installed by the exhibitor). During the booth construction period, all electric facilities will be installed by COEX assigned Service Company. To receive electric supply, exhibitors must independently apply for electricity.
C.
Especially, safety device must be installed when displaying a sensitive apparatus. Electric supply will shut down 30 minutes after the show closes every day. Exhibitor who needs a 24-hour electric supply must th
submit the application form (for electricity) to the organizer by Dec. Dec 15 2023. Intentionally overconnecting a MULTI-PLUG on to the electric socket may cause fire. Any sort of electric work must be conduct by an official appointed service company of COEX. D. Organizer suggests exhibitors to apply for the appropriate amount of electricity for lighting and power. When it is apparent that the electricity registered by exhibitor falls short (during the set-up and exhibition period), the referred exhibitor must apply for more. This is to prevent possible danger and accidents. The major contributor of conflagration or damage caused to another exhibitor inside the exhibition hall shall be compensated to the Education Korea secretariat or COEX.
3) TELEPHONE INSTALLATION A telephone with an individual direct number will be provided for exhibitors who have registered for telephones.
4) INTERNET CABLE(LAN) INSTALLATION A. This will only be provided for exhibitors that have registered for T1 standard of internet line. However, cancellation is impossible after the application, so please note this. B.
This service is only provided for exhibitors that have registered for ‘LAN’ written in the application form and the exhibitor must bring his/her individual PC applied with a LAN card.
C.
Each port will be given a fixed IP address (It is written on the mini tag stuck to the port line)
D. Usage of internet sharer device will be restricted within the exhibition hall.

5) WATER & DRAINAGE / COMPRESSED AIR A. Compressed air will be provided for water sewage facilities and mechanical operation. B.
Water & Drainage, Compressed air will be provided 30 minutes before the opening of the exhibition and will be shut down 30 minutes after the closing of the exhibition.
C.
When damage is caused due to the water cut off or fall of water pressure is concerned during the testing stage of the machine, the exhibitor must install a safety device by his/her own cost.
D. Water & Drainage must be connected to specific equipment 1:1 and prohibited to use T shape connection.
6) DISMANTLING Please check for any remnants left behind in the drawer before the assigned service company takes away the rented furniture. Education Korea secretariat will not be responsible for any damage or loss.
7) NOTIFICATION A. Displays and exhibit items must be fabricated before coming into the show. Only assembling the displays is available within the hall. B.
Usage of electrically driven tools, such as compressor, welding machine, chain saw, electric plane, and electric grinder is prohibited inside the exhibition hall. Painting is only allowed for repair during the finishing stage (Fire Fight Safety and Management Regulation). Usage of adhesives, such as industrial glue, latex is prohibited while attaching the carpet on the floor, so exhibitors are suggested to use line tapes that do not leave any traces on the floor.
C.
When the floor or the wall of the exhibition hall is damaged due to nailing or gluing conduct by the exhibitor, the exhibitor should pay for its repairmen.
D. Electric facilities are installed under the trench cover of the floor, so please make sure to not poor any liquid or beverage on the floor. Mopping the floor with water is also prohibited.
8) CLEANING During set-up and dismantling period, exhibitors must clean the cargo box of construction materials or boxes for exhibits. The garbage from the assigned constructing service company shall be collected individually. If this is impossible, the exhibitor shall pay a waste disposal fee to the organizer after consultation.

SECTION 6 EXHIBITION REGULATION & NOTIFICATION

1. EXHIBITION REGULATION & NOTIFICATION 1) REGULATION OF Education Korea 2024 A. PERMITTED SPACE All exhibits shall be displayed within the registered space pre-applied by the exhibitor and shall not block the entrance or the exit. Any sort of structural matter using the aisle is not permitted. All exhibits and installation equipment must be nonflammable. B.
OUTWARD APPEARANCE Exhibits seen from the aisle or neighboring booth shall be decorated by the exhibitor. In particular, decoration, lighting, and acoustics shall not influence the neighboring exhibitors.
C.
BOOTH DESIGN & STRUCTURE Every raw space (or space only) booth exhibitor shall submit the overall booth design & structuring plan to the organizer (fair@educationkorea.kr) by Dec. 15

2023.
D. BOOTH STRUCTURE The height of the booth varies by location. The booth structure / displayed exhibits shall not disrupt the emergency exit, aisles or the visitors’ path. E.
DISPLAY OF EXHIBITS All exhibits shall be placed and displayed 60cm inside the booth. If not, the organizer will ask the exhibitor to shift the exhibits. This is to encourage fair play for all exhibitors of Education Korea 2024.
F.
RESTRICTION ON ACOUSTICS - Education Korea restricts all promotional acoustic actions from exhibitors inside the hall. If other exhibitors are afflicted by any sort of acoustic actions, the organizer will take strong actions against the noise-creating exhibitor. - The organizer can ask the exhibitor to halt the utilization of the sound system. - Any events/promotions planned to be held inside the exhibitors’ booth shall be pre-discussed with the organizer. The organizer will hire a separate safety guard to maintain order.
G. SAFETY Safety actions shall be taken for mechanics/equipment that moves, vibrates or contains dangerous substances, before being exhibited. Management responsibility relies on the exhibitor.

H. Lighting Usage of flashlights and rotating lights is banned within the exhibition hall. Spotlights from the booth should not disrupt other exhibitors. I.
AISLE MANAGEMENT All exhibitors have the duty to keep their adjacent aisles clean. All exhibits must be placed within the allocated space and must not be placed on the aisles.
J.
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION/CHANGES Exhibitors must receive approval from the organizer in order to change the structure of the booth inside the exhibitor hall.
K.
EXHIBITION HALL MANAGEMENT Nailing on the wall or the floor inside the exhibition hall is prohibited. Adhesives such as painting, or glue are also not allowed to be used on the stalls and the floor of the exhibition hall. If this regulation is violated, the exhibitor must compensate COEX for the damage caused.
L.
EXHIBITS MANAGEMENT All exhibitors are fully responsible for any sort of theft or damage of their own exhibits, including their exhibiting stand, and cannot claim compensation from the organizer.
M. STORAGE OF DANGEROUS ARTICLES Exhibitors must pre-report their own dangerous articles to the organizer and receive approval for their use during the exhibition period. After the carry-in of dangerous articles to the exhibition hall, exhibitors must seek safety procedures to prevent possible accidents during the show. N. SUBLEASE Exhibitors are not permitted to sublease their stand to other companies without a written signature by the organizer, apart from their mother company, interrelated enterprises, or sister company. Exhibitors’ intentional sublease a stand to another company shall restrict their show participation by the organizer. O. CLEANING Education Korea 2024 will put massive effort to keep the exhibition hall clean. During the show period, the organizer will take care of public areas such as the aisles and public trash bins. However, any sort of trash occurring from booth installation during the preparation period shall be cleaned by the exhibitor.

Q. WIRING Any kind of wiring is bound to firefight safety and management regulations. This regulation applies to booth & equipment installation.
2) EXHIBITOR EVENT REGULATION A. PURPOSE Exhibitor event regulations are established to provide convenience for all exhibitors and visitors by limiting excessive promotional activities that may create any kind of disturbance. Especially, the contents of event programs from the exhibitors are only available if they do not create any offense against public morals. Also, to encourage more business consultation of other exhibitors with their customers, the organizer strongly restricts any usage of sound systems. B.
AREA LIMITS Promotional activities or events of exhibitors shall only take place within the registered area. Any sort of activities occurring outside the allocated area (such as the aisles or other public areas) will be strongly restricted.
C.
EVENT / PROGRAM LIMITS Events occurring inside the exhibition hall are supposed to be carried out in the form of a presentation, in order to encourage exhibitors to demonstrate more of their products to target visitors.
D. APPLICATION Exhibitors shall provide a written application form that claims their conduct of event/programs to the organizer. Any sort of sound system + display/broadcasting equipment that are not indicated in the application form may be restricted from entering the exhibition hall during the Set-up/Exhibition period. E.
RESTRICTION LIMITS Any events/programs will be permitted under the premise that it does not interrupt other exhibitors.
F.
DISCIPLINARY MEASURES TO VIOLATING ‘EVENT REGULATION’ - The organizer will manage and settle any disturbance or chaos generated by the exhibitor within the exhibition hall, and even if any compulsory action or force is taken to obstruct the exhibitor, the organizer will not provide any compensation. - ‘Exhibitor Event Regulation’ takes effect from the submission of the event/program application form until the end of the show period.

3) OTHER REGULATION A. DISTURBANCE Exhibitors shall not take part in any activities that create any sort of disturbance within the exhibition hall, as well as to other exhibitors. B.
PROMOTION All demonstrated items and promotion activities shall only take place within the allocated area. Exhibitors are responsible for settling down any disturbance caused by demonstrations or other promotion activities. Without written approval from the organizer, exhibitors shall not conduct any promotion outside the allocated area, such as introducing exhibition/exhibit items or other marketing/activities.
C.
SALES PROMOTION GIFT Exhibitors are only able to distribute samples or souvenirs within the allocated area. However, sales promotion gift distribution outside the allocated area is only available for exhibitors who have attained exclusive rights from the organizer.
D. EMPLOYMENT Exhibitors are not permitted to display any materials such as items, signboards, or catalogs that are solely for the purpose of hiring new employees. E.
SPECIAL EVENTS Exhibitors are prohibited from hosting an individual event/exhibition/program without the approval of the organizer.
F.
EXHIBITION SCHEDULE Show time, and installation/dismantling period will be regulated by the organizer. Exhibitors are able to dismantle or carry out their exhibits after the closing of the exhibition.
G. FAILURE TO PERFORM COMPLETE OCCUPATION Although unable to use the whole area, exhibitors must fully pay for their registered area. Stands that have not been installed within the restricted preparation time will be owned by the organizer and used for other purposes. Also, exhibitors who have not reported for cancellation of participation will lose their privilege and cannot have their participation fee reimbursed.

H. SALES Exhibitors referring to the following cases are permitted to conduct sales: - Postal sales after having received a product order during the show period - Having received an approval from the organizer to conduct sales - All exhibitors have the duty to know the public hygiene and safety rules of their exhibit items. Also, advertisements or sales that are not acknowledged by the organizer shall not take place during the show period.

SECTION 7 CUSTOM CLEARANCE / FREIGHT FORWARDING

1. CUSTOM CLEARANCE / FREIGHT FORWARDING Exhibitors may assign all matters of international customs clearance to VENUE(COEX) cooperative exhibition freight forwarding company.
1) ENTRY OF EXHIBIT ITEM A. BONDED CUSTOMS - MEANING: Simplified form of clearance where exhibitors can exhibit their items without having to take the official procedures of the entry of import. In this case, the exhibitors may re-take the exhibit items back to their country. On the other hand, if there is a consumer that demands the exhibit items, the exhibitor can take official procedures of the clearance of import. - BONDED AREA: During the show period, the organizer will set the exhibition hall as a bonded area for exhibitors that own bonded exhibits, so the referring exhibitors must report the details of their bonded th
exhibits to the organizer’s office by Dec. 15 (Fri) 2023. B.
NO-DRAFT CUSTOMS This type of clearance refers to exhibit items displayed for the purpose of consumables. Each unit price shall be less than $5 and the total price, unit price, and the number of products must be acceptable to the Customs.

RE-EXPORTATION CUSTOMS - MEANING: An importing procedure in which the importer registers to re-export their exhibit items overseas, by setting up a mortgage. - FEATURES (MORTGAGE SET-UP NEEDED) → Re-exporting the exhibits when the exhibition area is not bonded (for hotels, general events) - When buyers are needed and the tastings are necessary after the closing of the exhibition → Customs inspection is a district-bonded warehouse and does not require a tariff. - TYPES OF MORTGAGES → Cash: Set by the standard of tax amount → Bank’s Guarantee for Payment: (same as it is written) → Tax Bond Insurance: Issuing of the warranty of tax payment
* The exhibitor must keep the promise to re-export the items. If this regulation is violated, a penalty fee will be imposed to the exhibitor.

3) OFFICIAL SHIPPING, FORWARDING AND HANDLING AGENT - To coordinate the movement of all exhibits and other properties consigned to the exhibition, COEX has appointed the companies to act as official shipping, forwarding, and handling agents from the dock in Seoul to the Convention & Exhibition Center (COEX). When the exhibitors want to have the list of these companies, the Organizer would give the list with the designated contractor's list. - All lifting, handling, and customs clearance on-site must be undertaken only by the appointed agent. No other contractor can carry out such tasks. Consequently, it is essential that details of all consignments for the exhibition are sent to an official agent well before the time of the event in order that necessary arrangements for labor and equipment may be made. Failure to affect such notification in sufficient time may result in late delivery of goods to the stand site.

4) IMPORTATION OF EXHIBIT AND EXHIBITOR’S MATERIAL Convention & Exhibition (COEX) will be declared a Bonded Area for the display of exhibits. Thus, unless goods remain in Korea after the exhibition, duty will not be payable. To facilitate the obtaining of Temporary Import Licenses, full and accurate documentation of intended consignments must be prepared in all cases and submitted to the official agent at the latest two weeks before goods are due to arrive in Korea.
5) EXHIBITOR SHIPPING INSTRUCTION A. SHIPPING DOCUMENTATION The notified party should be one of the forwarding companies and the consignee should be the exhibitor himself or its agent in Korea on all shipping documents. The destination of the exhibits and exhibition materials is COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, (06164) 513, Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea, and marking should be made on the cases and documents that the goods are for Education Korea. B.
DELIVERY DEADLINE TO PORT OF ENTRY - Air shipment: 5 working days prior to the show - Ocean shipment: 10 days prior to the show.

CUSTOMS TREATMENT Convention & Exhibition is a bonded area for exhibition purposes. No goods brought in for exhibition may be removed from the Convention & Exhibition before, during, or after the exhibition except as detailed below. Exhibition goods will be kept without charge at the Convention & Exhibition during the exhibition period, after which they must be either. - Re-shipped directly out of Korea (without payment of duty) - "Nationalized", i.e., presented for payment of regular duty, on the value declared at the time of entry, and customs clearance. - Transferred to Seoul Customs House bonded storage area where bonded goods may be stored no more than ninety days from their entry into Korea. After this period, customs will sell the goods at public auction

if they are not "nationalized" or shipped out of Korea. - Freight Charges: Normal customs broker and inland handling charges for all inbound and outbound shipments of exhibit goods will be charged to the exhibitor. The Convention & Exhibition will normally assist in expediting inbound airfreight shipments on charge unless overtime work is involved. F.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTION FOR HAND-CARRYING AND SAMPLES Samples are logged into the passport and verified on departure.
6) DELIVERY & MANAGEMENT OF EXHIBITS Delivery of items to the exhibitor's stand in the exhibition hall will be supervised by the official site handling agents. The exhibitor should be present at the time of arrival of goods to receive them and assist, if necessary, with customs clearance. Neither the COEX nor the official forwarding and site handling agents will be responsible for exhibits once they have been delivered to the stand site. The exhibitor shall bear full responsibility for their goods delivered to the stand site and should take maximum care to prevent theft or loss. The exhibitor shall also be responsible for charges such as the customs duty due to theft or loss.
7) HEAVY EXHIBITS Floor loading is below 1.5 tons/sqm in the exhibition hall. Even if it is proven that the exhibitor is impossible to display a particular item due to its size and/or weight, COEX will not be responsible. Therefore, if exhibits exceed this capacity, the exhibitor should inform the organizer of the correct machine weight and specify each item by submitting the application form. Basic exhibitors need to arrange and use a spreader sheet or any other kind of supporting material to disperse the weight.
8) FIXING TO EXHIBITION HALL STRUCTURE The fixing of machines or other items on the floor of the exhibition hall may only be possible after obtaining written permission from COEX. Any cost incurred by reinstatement of the floor after the exhibition must be paid by the exhibitor. No fixings or suspensions may be made to or from, the walls, roof, or other part of the exhibition hall building.

9) NATURE OF EXHIBITS All exhibits must be comprised of items or services relevant to the theme of the exhibition. COEX has all the right to exclude, or remove, at the exhibitor's cost, any item the organizer considers to be not germane to the event. The display of second-hand or reconditioned equipment is not permitted. Details of any intended exhibit, or associated material, of an inflammable, radioactive, explosive, or otherwise dangerous nature must be separately submitted to COEX by the deadline.
10) DEMONSTRATION & MECHANICAL EXHIBITS An exhibitor wishing to operate machinery on their stand site, or to carry out mechanical demonstrations, must ensure that these practices in no way constitute a fire or safety hazard or interfere with the activities of visitors or other exhibitors. The organizer reserves the right to terminate, or curtail, any practice which COEX considers to be detrimental to the exhibition.
11) MAINTENANCE & REPAIR OF EXHIBITS No major maintenance or repair work may be carried out while the exhibition is open to visitors. COEX must be informed, as early as possible, of any need for such operations in order that arrangements may be made for access to the exhibition hall at other times and any costs thus incurred must be paid by the exhibitor.
12) REMOVAL OF EXHIBITS & EXHIBITOR’S GOODS All exhibits and other properties of the exhibitor must be removed from the exhibition hall by no later than th
20:00 pm on Jan. 19 , 2024. COEX reserves the right, at the exhibitor's expense, to remove from the exhibition hall any items remaining after that time and to store or forward them to the exhibitor's declared address. Great care must be exercised in the packing and documentation of consignments for return to a country outside Korea as customs procedures are strict and discrepancies or omissions can cause serious problems and delays.
