Milestones, Memories, and What’s Next

Established in 2005, Klaypel is a Filipino creative enterprise that transforms recycled paper into art, products, and experiences that inspire creativity, advance sustainability, and empower communities.
At the heart of Klaypel is the belief that creativity has the power to transform—not only materials, but also people, communities, and the way we imagine the future. By reimagining recycled paper as an artistic medium, Klaypel creates products and programs that make creativity more accessible while giving new purpose to materials that would otherwise become waste.

Over the past 21 years, Klaypel has grown beyond a product company into a multidisciplinary creative organization, partnering with businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, cultural organizations, and the tourism and hospitality sector to deliver experiences that unite art, sustainability, education, and social impact.
Grounded in the principles of the circular economy, Klaypel demonstrates how creativity can become a catalyst for environmental stewardship, lifelong learning, community development, and inclusive economic opportunities.

"A married couple at the brink of separation randomly dropped by an art cafe, either to kill some time or to let off steam. As the sticks glided through a small board, the couple was lost in epiphany.
At the end of the session, they went home not just with a colorful artwork, but also with the realization that the marriage is still worth saving.
Heart-warming anecdotes like this all the more convince the Klaypel founders that their business is a blessing to them and to others."
