3. Promote Astronomy in Curricula
STEM+A@Astronomy Project in Formal Education
• Exodus had participated as an editor for primary school textbook publishers (Science subject) in Hong Kong and serving as a consultant in the field of astronomy, astronautics and natural science. When developing new curriculum content for primary school textbooks, Exodus strive to evaluate, examine, and optimize the existing content of previous textbooks (for the old subject) to ensure relevance and the appropriateness of physics knowledge.
• In 2025, he participated in the Astro Teacher Program, organized by the CUHK Department of Physics, and conducted academic exchanges and visited astronomical research sites at the California Institute of Technology (CalTech) and the University of Arizona in the United States.
In 2026, he completed the Aurora hunting expedition in Yellowknife, Canada.

• In 2026, he was approved as an Associate Member of the International Astronomical Union
• He contributed in IAU Inclusive Astronomy Communication Focus Group
• He is also the Co-National Outreach Coordinator from IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach, and he received the IAU OAO’s Certificate for “Most People Engaged”
• He is the featured speaker on aurora at the Hong Kong Astronomy Outreach Convention, a prelude event to APRIM 2026, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, presenting Chasing the Aurora: Astronomical Expeditions to the World’s Polar Regions.
NAEC China-Hong Kong had explored different approaches and platforms with transmedia science communication, featured in television, radio broadcast, online media, and newspaper columns and so on. The following links had included some of our efforts:
