Our ivy-clad country house is a haven of warmth, relaxation, and festive cheer, where crackling fireplaces set the scene, dazzling entertainment fills the air, and every sumptuous suite is given a seasonal touch, including a little gift from Saint Nicholas himself. Our award-winning spa ready with relaxation is at the heart of your Christmas escape.

Christmas at Pennyhill Park is as much about indulgence, it’s about well-being. Throughout your stay, the spa is yours to enjoy, whether you start the day with a peaceful swim, take on the 5km Santa Dash, or sink into the warmth of our indoor to outdoor hydrotherapy pool, soaking under the winter sky without feeling the chill. Each guest will also be treated to a 60-minute spa treatment, the perfect way to unwind and recharge amidst the festivities.

Of course, no Christmas would be complete without exceptional dining. From leisurely breakfasts to the grand Christmas feast itself (you haven’t truly had a Brussels sprout until you’ve tried one of ours), our chefs have crafted a menu to remember. Expect plenty of mulled wine, mince pies, and Champagne, all served with a touch of Pennyhill Park magic.

‘Twas the night before Christmas

Christmas Eve

Thursday 24th December 2026

Arrive on Christmas Eve as festivities are already in full swing, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the gentle excitement of the season all around you. It’s the perfect beginning to a magical festive stay, where every moment is designed to feel special from the very start.

Arrival from midday

Your festive retreat begins the moment you arrive. You’ll be welcomed with a warming glass of mulled wine or a soothing seasonal wellness tea, accompanied by delicious home-baked treats. Your luggage will be delivered directly to your room, allowing you to relax straight away and make the most of your early spa access.* You may also choose to ease into your stay with our wellness classes, including Reformer Pilates, Slow Flow Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

Somewhere between the celebrations, each adult can steal away for a 60-minute treatment,** creating a moment to relax, reset, and indulge in the best and feel your best.

Throughout your stay, you’re invited to unwind in The Festive Lounge, a beautifully dressed, cosy space designed for relaxation, creativity and gentle festive fun. Discover quiet reading nooks, seasonal crafts, games, puzzles and light-hearted building challenges, all complemented by calming sensory touches that create a warm winter atmosphere.

For our four-legged guests, the lounge also features a dedicated Paws & Play area. Complete with comfy resting spots, festive treats, enrichment mats and a styled photo backdrop, so dogs can enjoy their own special Christmas moment too.

Evening

Join us in Hillfield Bar & Restaurant for a cosy Christmas Eve gathering, relaxed, welcoming, and full of festive charm.

Ease into the evening with an informal feast, where seasonal dishes and festive favourites are served from our carefully curated food stations, alongside half a bottle of wine thoughtfully selected by our Sommelier to complement the flavours of the evening. With the gentle sound of live acoustic guitar playing in the background, the atmosphere is warm, intimate and easy-going. The perfect way to begin your Christmas celebrations.

For our younger guests, a touch of festive magic awaits. Stop by Reception to collect carrots for the reindeer, along with mince pies and milk to leave by the fire, ready for Santa’s arrival once little ones are tucked up and dreaming of Christmas morning.

For those who wish to attend midnight mass, we would be happy to recommend local churches and help with arranging transport. We’ll welcome you back to the hotel with hot toddies and freshly baked mince pies, before you tiptoe off to bed.

Christmas Day

Friday 25th December 2026

The big day is here! Our elves have been busy prepping, sprucing, and perfecting to give you and your loved ones a truly magical Christmas experience, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.

Morning

Start the day in effortless comfort with a relaxed and luxurious breakfast, whether you arrive in your Christmas jumper or dressed up for the day ahead.

There’s plenty of time to relax with your family and friends until the main event. The spa will be open from 7am to 2pm, (children’s splash time 9am to 11am) for a workout before lunch or a more relaxing morning. Why not join the fitness team at 8am for the Santa 5km dash? Santa hats are provided but further fancy dress is encouraged!

Afternoon

When it comes to lunch, you can choose the style of celebration that suits you best.*

For a lively and sociable atmosphere, the Hillfield Christmas Feast brings a brasserie feel, perfect for families and groups. Enjoy a traditional three-course Christmas lunch with generous starter and dessert buffets, seasonal vegetables served family-style at the table, unlimited roast potatoes, and half a bottle of Sommelier-selected wine per adult, all accompanied by festive acoustic music.

Dress code: Dress to impress or your favourite Christmas jumper!

If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, the Library Christmas Celebration offers an elegant, resident-only experience. Set within a softly candlelit space, you’ll enjoy a beautifully curated four-course menu with paired wines, complemented by the gentle sounds of a live string duo.

After lunch, the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Settle by the fire with a warming hot chocolate and festive sweet treats, or perhaps spend some time in our Screening Room to watch The King’s Speech with other guests. Then simply take some time to relax and recharge.

Evening

As the day draws to a close, a light festive buffet will be served in the Balmoral Suite, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person, selected by our Sommelier.

After supper, the evening is yours to enjoy however you wish. Families can unwind together in the Festive Lounge, a cosy space perfect for games, relaxation and gentle festive fun.

Boxing Day

Saturday 26th December 2026

Blow away the cobwebs with a breath of fresh air or unwind in our award - winning spa and take Boxing Day at your own pace. With flexible dining throughout the day and a delicious evening ahead, it’s the perfect balance of gentle activity and indulgent moments.

Morning

Start Boxing Day with brunch in Hillfield, designed to feel both fresh and comforting after the festivities of Christmas Day. Enjoy seasonal breakfast favourites, carved classics and sweet treats we know the little ones love, alongside refreshing juices and wellness shots. Live music creates a warm, easy-going atmosphere, with breakfast cocktails for those who want to upgrade.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether that’s unwinding in the spa*, pampering yourself with a 60-minute treatment, or joining one of our gentle wellness experiences. From Reformer Pilates and slow-flow yoga to breathwork meditation and skincare consultations, there are plenty of ways to relax, restore and reset. You may also wish to browse our dedicated Boxing Day retail event, featuring exclusive seasonal offers.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, a guided winter woodland mindfulness walk or family-friendly archery session offers a refreshing way to embrace the season. Everyone is warmly welcomed to spend time in the Festive

Lounge, open throughout the day with crafts, games, storytelling and relaxed play. Perfect for the young, and the young at heart.

Afternoon

Lunch is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dine in Themis or Hillfield, indulge in our renowned afternoon tea, choose something light from the bar menus, or simply unwind with room service in the comfort of your room.

Evening

As evening draws in, guests are invited to book a table in Hillfield Restaurant for a relaxed three-course à la carte dinner, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person, thoughtfully selected by our Sommelier. For a more indulgent dining experience, Michelin-starred Latymer is also available by reservation.**

After dinner, live jazz in the bar provides a warm and celebratory close to the day, the perfect way to unwind and savour the final moments of Boxing Day.

Today is your last day with us and we trust you’ll leave with lots of memories to cherish.

Start the day with a full English breakfast in Hillfield or Themis before checking out at 11am. Don’t forget you can still enjoy the spa until 2pm with children’s splash time 9am to 11am to make the most of your spa-kling Christmas stay!

A 5% discount is available for bookings made before 1st September.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Reservations are confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit for each room booked. The remaining balance of the account, including any add-ons/supplements, is required by the first week of December. Bookings made after this date are subject to full payment at the time of booking. All dietary requirements must be advised at the time of itinerary completion.
