Over a span of two nights, one specifically for community members and one for Excela Health employees, 400 women gathered to learn about breast cancer from an artful presentation. “It’s been said that medicine is a blend of art and science, and tonight we pair personal creativity with collective knowledge in a discussion of a health topic that is of particular interest to women,” said Dr. Carol Fox, Chief Medical Officer for Excela Health. Attendees heard from a number of speakers including Dr. Sharon Goldstein, Breast Surgery; Dr. Becky Hwang and Dr. Amy Kreutel, Radiology, as well as Nurse Navigators Sheila Farina, MSN, RN and Carrie Horner, MSN, RN.
