LIFT AVIATION HAS COMPLETED THE PROTOTYPE PHASE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION FIXED WING HELMET (NGFWH) DESIGNED FOR THE U.S. AIR FORCE LIFT Aviation is excited to announce the successful completion of the prototyping phase for the Next Generation Fixed Wing Helmet (NGFWH) designed for the U.S. Air Force. This significant achievement underscores LIFT’s commitment to advancing the Department of Defense’s ongoing program aimed at enhancing human factors such as stability, weight reduction, comfort, and fit, while integrating cutting-edge technologies with various systems, including weapons guidance and target cueing systems across all airframes (excluding the F-35 aircraft).

Following four years of extensive testing, comprising over fifty-three environmental tests, 600 Knots Equivalent Air Speed (KEAS) Windblast, and Ejection Sled Testing. LIFT has met all requirements outlined in the NGFWH Performance Specification (P-Spec).

With the P-Spec requirements now fully satisfied, LIFT is poised to collaborate with the Human Systems Program Office to advance the program into the Milestone C Acquisition Phase, paving the way toward securing a production contract. This milestone marks a major step forward in providing the U.S. Air Force with a state-of-theart helmet solution that enhances both safety and performance in the field.

The Ultra Clarity Lens provides a true representation of what is in front of you while still blocking harmful UV rays. The lens is not polarized because pilots need to be able to read their instruments in addition to being able to see glare that may help identify other aircraft. Because we understand that accurate vision is essential while flying, we designed a lens that would improve a pilot’s vision without distorting it in any way.

TITANIUM FRAME The properties that make Titanium so important to the aviation industry also make it a great material for a sunglass frame. As strong as steel yet 40% lighter, as well as being highly resistant to corrosion and rapid pressure changes mean that the Tanium-AVX Sunglasses are built for the long haul.
