ABOUT THE SHOW
That’s Gay! Comedy started back in 2022 and has sold out almostvery show since. Hosted by Erin Purghart, the show features Vancouver’s best comedians who just so happen to be queer.
That’s Gay! Comedy has been presented by Just For Laughs VANCOUVER, and featured in the Georgia Straight, The Tyee, The Ubyssey & Vancouver Magazine.

ERIN PURGHART | HOST
Erin Purghart is an actor, comedian, producer & middle child based in Vancouver, BC. Erin received their BFA in Acting from UBC in 2021, and has been using it for evil on comedy stages ever since.
They are the host and producer of forever sold out That’s Gay! Comedy Show which has been presented by Just For Laughs VANCOUVER, and featured in the Georgia Straight, the Tyee, the Ubyssey and Vancouver Magazine.




CASSIDY ANHORN
Cassidy Anhorn (she/her) is a fast rising comedic performer from so-called Vancouver. She is featured on the fifth season of New Wave of Standup on CBC Gem (2024), JFL Original’s Best of BC album (2023), and Sirius XM. Cassidy has opened for Kristin Key, Rachel Scanlon, Kevin James Thornton and many more! She aspires to be your favourite queer comic’s favourite queer comic.
ANDY STONE WARNER
Andy Stone Warner (she / her) is a trans stand-up comedian who has performed everywhere from Vancouver’s Vogue Theatre to New York’s Harlem Stage. You might have seen her telling jokes at Just for Laughs Vancouver or peddling essential oils at the dog park. Follow her @andystonewarner on Instagram.
D FRETTER
D Fretter is a writer, spoken word artist, and newcomer to the comedy scene living on the unceded territory of the Qayqayt people. As a poet, he has been described as “…like a hiphop Andrea Gibson”. His debut poetry collection Joy + Misery peaked at number one in African Canadian Literature and number five in Canadian Poetry on the Amazon charts. Fretter applies his poetic sensibilities and conversational style to his comedy to cultivate While still getting his footing in the comedy world he is already making a name for himself as a comedian to keep your eye on.
JOSH ROMYN
Josh Romyn is a Vancouver-based comedian and filmmaker, described by the Georgia Straight as “funny, raw, and painfully self-aware.” They produce the weekly comedy show True Enough! and the monthly The Talent Show!, where you can catch them performing stand-up and increasingly absurd antics.
