Born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Ryan attended culinary school at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco shortly after high school Since graduating from CCA in 2009, he has enjoyed the opportunity to work at several amazing properties, namely, the Ritz Carlton in Lake Tahoe Additionally, Ryan has held the role of Chef de Cuisine at well-known restaurants along the west coast for the past threeyears, specifically, Tasty ?n Alder in Portland and BosTaurusin Bend.
He met his wife, Kayla, while in Portland working at Tasty ?n Alder They now have two children, Forest who is six and Juniper who is two Both of their children are little foodies (just like their parents) Forest?s favorite food is seafood (oysters and shrimp are his favorite). Juniper is the little sous chef and alwaysby her dad?s sidewhen he?scooking at home. Thefamily lovesbeing outdoorsasmuch as possible and going on bikeridesand hikesall around beautiful Central Oregon.
