Colourful music mayhem AROUND 20,000 people descended on Palma as elrow transformed Son Fusteret into a spectacular electronic music festival for one of Mallorca’s biggest summer parties. The elrow XXL event brought thousands of music fans together for hours of DJs, dancing, performers and colourful production. The festival ran from the afternoon until 2am and featured four stages, giving revellers plenty of opportunities to explore the huge outdoor venue. tumes, installations and theatrical elements helping to create an energetic festival atmosphere. The huge crowd included
both Mallorca residents and visitors to the island, adding another major international music event to Palma’s busy summer
calendar. The elrow XXL format has become particularly popular for its combination of electronic music and theatrical en-
tertainment, attracting large crowds at venues across Europe and beyond. Son Fusteret provided the space for the sizeable production, with four stages allowing thousands of festival-goers to spread across the venue while still enjoying the atmosphere of one enormous party. The event also highlighted Mallorca’s continuing appeal as a destination for major music events. The island’s summer tourism season provides a natural audience for international DJs and festival brands, while Palma has increas-
ingly become an important stop on the European music circuit. For the 20,000 people who attended, the night offered a full taste of the colourful, high-energy experience that has made elrow one of the bestknown names in electronic music. The latest Mallorca event has once again demonstrated the huge appetite for large-scale music experiences on the island, with Son Fusteret proving capable of hosting thousands of revellers for a major night of music and entertainment.
