Mallorca’s American dream PALMA is looking across the Atlantic as it launches a new campaign aimed at attracting more American tourists to Mallorca in 2027. The Fundació Turisme Palma 365 has approved a €208,120 contract for a promotional campaign targeting travel professionals in the United States. Events will be held in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York this autumn, with two further cities also set to be chosen. Around 120 American travel agents are expected to participate in the campaign, which will focus on professionals already showing an interest in Palma and who could help promote holidays in the Balearic capital. The initiative will finish with an event in New York early next year, bringing US travel agents together with representatives from Palma’s tourism industry.
