pany of British Airways, deciding to explore other options for the future of Air Europa last year, taking regulatory considerations into account within its decision-making process. Air Europa, owned by the Spanish family group Globalia and based in Llucmajor, operates in over 44 destinations across Spain, Europe, the Americas, the Caribbean, Morocco, and Tunisia.
In December 2024, Air Europa announced the launch of a new route between Madrid and Istanbul, with flights scheduled to begin on 12 May 2025. Initially, four weekly flights will be offered, increasing to five, operated on Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Although spokespeople for Air France-KLM and Lufthansa have declined to comment on
their respective offers, and Globalia has not responded to requests for information, these moves reflect the dynamics of the European airline market, where airlines are looking to strengthen their presence and competitiveness through acquisitions and strategic alliances.

This model operates 24 hours a day and is supported by a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, providing comprehensive and personalised care.
