THE Costa del Sol has just closed its most successful ever summer season in which employment was given to almost 150,000 more people. This was the data supplied by the President of the Provincial Council, Francisco Salado, at a press conference on Tuesday, October 1, who wanted to reassure everyone that Malaga ‘is not overcrowded.’ Salado emphasised that ‘the most important thing’ is the impact on employment. The number of people with official contracts of employment increased by 6.8 percent compared to last year, with a total of 149,693 more people employed.
