Mojacar in top five favourite getaways MOJACAR has just been announced as one of the most visited coastal towns by national tourists. Antena 3, a Spanish television channel, announced over the weekend the rankings of the most visited coastal places by national tourists, and after being entered in May by Destinia, Mojacar was included in the top five. The holiday jewel of Almeria, Mojacar, sees more and more tourists every year returning to its sandy beaches, iconic white buildings and surrounding mountains, all overlooking the vast Mediterranean Sea. Another factor that makes Mojacar so frequently visited by nationals is its competitive prices in comparison to other coastal towns. Beyond the prices is Mojacar’s charm; from the pueblo’s quaint and artistic culture to the playa’s vibrancy and excitement. It isn’t uncommon for many national tourists to purchase second homes in Mojacar, making it their summer destination, along with the thousands of foreign residents from all over Europe and the UK.
