Anna Akopyan THE town council of La Nucia released its budget for 2024, amounting to €31.8 million of investment in the future of its residents. The mayor, Bernabe Cano, announced the town’s plans: “The municipal accounts will continue to combat the economic situation and unemployment with €1.9 million investment in job training.” Part of the €2.1 million will benefit families of low income, creating 10 subsidies, including benefits for schools, special needs students, and day centre users.
