THE mayor of Mojacar, Fran cisco García Cerdá, was de lighted to raise the flag which affirmed that the town has been a long term member of the Most Beauti ful Towns in Spain Associa tion. In this the 10th anniver sary of the foundation of the Association, which now boasts no less than 111 members amongst its num bers, Mojacar continues to supports its aims and is proud to be part of such an important organisation. The Association is all about the concept of her itage, tradition and history, so each member can demonstrate the role that it plays in this seal of quality

association can only attract visitors and new residents to some of the most charming and forward looking munici palities in Spain.
Unveiling the flag once again, the mayor accompa nied by Noemí Linares, councillor for Culture; María Gracia Alarcón, councillor for Tourism, and the dele gate of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Junta de An dalucía in Almería, José Vélez spoke about the quali ty of life in Mojacar and his vision of an even better fu ture.
