THE graphic design studio from Murcia, Rubio y Del Amo, has been chosen to design the logo and image for the brand of the Spanish Space Agency. The Spanish Space Agency will open its headquarters in Sevilla this

month. The agency almost chose San Javier, but in the end opted for Sevilla. The Murcian design studio com peted with approximately 100 other studios for the prestigious project with stu dios from all over the coun

THE HIPPOCAMPUS ASSOCIATION is a nonprofit organisation whose purpose is the conservation of the marine environment of the Mar Menor. They raise awareness about marine habitats through re search and by monitoring the population of the longsnout ed seahorse species of the Mar Menor. They have monitored this species for 12 years and saw the population reduce by 99.9 per cent. But last week in Los Nietos they recorded a video of a group of two or 3cm seahorses. This indicates that there are adults reproducing in the area offering hope of more sightings and an increase in the population.
