The popstar will sail from the UK to Mal lorca at the end of April according to an an nouncement made on Monday, February 13. During the cruise oper ated by Arvia and Iona Holidays, the singersong writer is expected to per form a concert for charity. Branson’s hotel hiring BUSINESS magnate Richard Branson is preparing to open a hotel in Mallorca. The recruit ment process has begun for staff at Branson’s Son Bunyola resort, and there are certain require ments for those working at the luxury destination. Firstly, prospective staff are all required to own and drive their own cars. The hotel’s seclud ed location is the reason for this requirement as the resort’s entrance is located around three kilometres from the nearest town, Banyalbu far. The founder of the Vir gin group also requires fluent English and some German for most staff positions on the resort due to the international tourists the hotel expects
to host. The recruitment pro cess is now underway and is expected to con clude during the next few weeks as the hotel prepares to open three
months ahead of sched ule with a hugelyantici pated opening ceremony in June of this year. The luxury resort is Bran
son’s biggest investment on Mallorca in several years and expectations are already high for the multimillionaire’s latest project.

Soller shines on
FOR Mallorca residents, Soller’s beauty is no se cret, but the town just re ceived recognition in one of the most prestigious European travel portals. European Best Desti nations placed the town Soller has made in its Top 20 European European Best Travel Destinations list Destinations’ Top 20. for 2023 in its report re leased on Tuesday, February 14. The town secured a spot on the list thanks to votes from the public who ex pressed their delight with the town. More than 500,000 people from 178 countries cast their votes in the global contest. The travel website highlighted the reasons for placing Soller on the list, describing it as a ‘hidden gem’ and its credentials in a wide range of fields including for cycling and as a top destination for honeymoons. European Best Destinations also described Soller’s train as an “au thentic charm that will appeal to all of the family.”
