Check your tax withholdings
As you are aware, we are in the thick of tax season. Here are a few tips to ensure there are no surprises when you visit your tax professional next year.
Check your pay stub regularly and make sure you know what is being withheld. HR and payroll are not monitoring your tax deductions. These are individual to the employee and vary greatly. Make sure your withholdings are correct, and change them if necessary. Visit with your financial advisor or tax professional if you have questions or concerns.
